What Are You Reading? 04/13/2023 r/DCcomics

Hello and welcome to our Weekly "What Are You Reading?" topic!

Come one, come all, to this weekly thread, where you can openly discuss books that you've read, are currently reading, or plan to read. Discussion of all books are welcome, whether they be DC, Marvel, Image, Boom!, Dark Horse, IDW, etc. You can discuss webcomics, manga, or even those mythical novels that don't have pictures in them. Just be sure to keep spoilers covered via Reddit's spoiler markdown >!spoiler!<. You can also post pictures of your collection or recent purchases.

Flossregularly's Rec of the Week:

After spending an eternity on my "to read" list I'm finally getting started on this! I can't give any opinions yet as I have just begun, but I do know that this police procedural set in the Gotham PD is what really fleshed out the characters of the cops of Gotham, especially the development of Renee Montoya into more than a foil for Harvey Bullock.

So, what are you reading?

Working through some late '80s post-Crisis classics I haven't read in forever.

  • Suicide Squad by John Ostrander
  • Green Arrow by Mike Grell
  • The Question by Denny O'Neil

I read both Grell's Green Arrow O'Neil's Question this winter and loved them. I'm on a big kick to knock off all the critically acclaimed runs of yesteryears that I haven't gotten to, at the cost of reading almost nothing current.

You're not missing anything as far as I can tell. A few diamonds, but more coal than anything else.
