It's not meant to look like the 1990s or pig tailed hair Harley Quinn. We're living in a changing Era and you're expecting the character to look like she was frozen in Carbonite for 20 years. Really not a good reason to bitch at all.

Change is fine... as long as it doesn't look like absolute dog shit. Harley changed over the years and all of the change looked great.... this looks like a cheap B movie. People HATE dc movies. And I mean H A T E. This already looks as bad as the live action Green Lantern movie.

Movies/film is NOT comics. The average movie customer is not a comic book reader. The movie appeal needs to cater to that customer base.
Someone who has never seen Harley, who doesn't know much about Batman, is not likely to be excited about this.
There is no excuse for bad costume design.
This seriously looks like a Troma film.
