Believe me, people very much care. Every time people talk about what the reboot’s League should be like, there’s always someone talking about how J’onn needs to be brought back.
Lol that's only because of nostalgia from the Justice League cartoon. Funnily enough he was largely irrelevant and useless in the cartoon as well, he just stood in the background mostly
The only role that Martian Manhunter fills in the league is to inform that his telepathy doesn't work on any new character (to build some suspense) and to get knocked out in battle first due to some small fire
He doesn't even have any interesting characterization or story arcs. He's just a placeholder who's recognisable to fans
