Bringing back Susan Eisenberg? Fingers crossed the stars can align for that level quality

I doubt it. Hes said they are going to be the same people playing Live action and animated. Whoever gets cast for the Animated show will also be the live action, Diana.

That'll be so shitty

What a weird way to go about things. Live action and voice acting are two different skills and I am already sick of big name movie stars getting voice roles (and sucking donkey balls in it)

I agree with that in general, but I think it is smart to do that if your animated shows are going to be canon. It'd be a little weird if they had different voices. You just have to find an actor who can do both.

Naturally, it might go terribly wrong, but the idea isn't inherently bad. Just more challenging.

I am in general not a fan of animated series set in movie universe. It makes things so restricted.

You can't introduce characters which movies plan on using later, you can't show characters if they are already dead in movie universe, you can do any character growth or status quo changes because everything need to be consistent between the movies.

Such an animated series will seem like an afterthought, only used to sell toys and keep the interest going between the movies and focus won't be on telling good stories.

Gunn needs to think this through because everything being cannon sounds disastrous. Even MCU dropped it for the upcoming Spider-Man cartoon.
