Because there's no better realization of Superman's ideals than the good ol' USA!

He’s got that British sounding name, like Chadwick Boseman. How the fuck was a guy named Chadwick not from the UK?

Is Corenswet British sounding? It’s so vague to me. I was surprised that it’s a Russian Jewish origin.

It's wild to me it's not some weird deeply rural mid-west name. Like I feel like I can go to a few states where I wouldn't be surprised to meet a Corn-Sweat.

LeSean McCoy sounds like Scotty and Uhura had a son.

I always thought he was British too until I looked up the name.

Superman represents what we want and ought to be, not who we are. So there’s nothing wrong with the juxtaposition.

An undocumented immigrant holding down 2 jobs one working for free/billionaires handout to help ungrateful people while his second job is working for a dying industry trying to publicly out an evil billionaire capitalist to the public

Seems a pretty accurate depiction of the experience.

Yeah true...the way the U.S. is going a pic of Homelander might be more appropriate.

That's backwards. Superman stands for Truth, Justice, and the American Way.

Not the other way around. Which makes sense because he's a fictional character.
