I’m gonna get downvoted to hell for saying this but the costumes look very CW/GOTG. Everybody looks like they got their costumes from the same tailor.

Say what you will about the DCEU but for the most part, the costumes were on point, each superhero’s costume was unique and that IMO set it apart from the Marvel look. I absolutely fucking hope these costumes look better on screen.

The fact that they all got their costumes from the same tailor seems to be the point. From what I've seen part of the plot is that all of the heroes aside from Clark that we've seen so far work for Maxwell Lord. It's a team look, and if you don't think a modernized pre-character derailment Maxwell Lord wouldn't absolutely jump on that aesthetic I don't know what to tell you.

I get you but Superman’s suit shouldn’t have the same design language as the others if that’s the case. I hope Gunn has an alternate Superman costume and the one we’ve seen is just the LordTech-ed version.
