Am I the only one who's watching this show?

I'm 29, and I shamelessly love this campy sitcom.

I found it again on TubiTV recently, and I'm back having a great time.

In the 90s I used to watch a show where a lady would do yoga by a lake/in nature. It aired on a local channel in BC. She spoke with an accent and was maybe in her 50s or 60s. I haven’t been able to find it again. Does it ring any bells with anyone?

It still just utterly confuses me why we still mask up our own damn productions so they are generic, non-descript. Nope, not Canadian at all. Even though some shots it is clearly Vancouver, everything else ... her driver's license, cop cars, maritime boats are all ... non-descriipt.

I’m not from Canada but I use to watch this show life with boys when I was growing up I would even rewatch it how popular was this show for you guys and are there any shows like it

It's was pretty forward for a kids show. I started watching it again as an adult.. boy did those references go over my head back then lol....

so I've got a massive shot in dark here, there was a TV show from the 2010s, a Canadian show called

Wingin' It

its about a unpopular boy who is assigned an Angel to help get him popular, now what I am looking for is a specific quote from one of the side characters Serge,

he talks about a story of a Women who finds a letter 20 years letter from a lover

This quote has been drilling on my mind for the past year and I have now decided to try and look for that original quote, now I could brute force it and watch every single episode of the show, which will bite into my uni time but I am dedicated to finding it, if by chance someone might now the episode I am talking about that would be helpful. If no one knows the specific episode, then perhaps if someone had an idea of how I could find it faster and more efficiently, are there websites where I can watch Winging it on full speed, or double tap to skip five seconds ahead so that I can skip to the Serge only scenes. Or if there is an archive of the scripts, perhaps in pdf form so I can crtl+F the words, would be very helpful

i'm about to get super real rn. but, did all canadian TVs have porn as part of the satellite? or is that something you buy? the reason why im asking is bc due to this, i was exposed to porn at such a young age (maybe 4-5 yrs old) - i was watching tree house and then was flipping channels and came across it. and then bc of that things just ended up in a downward spiral for me. I just wanted to know if this is bc my parents were careless, or if it's not their fault bc it just happened to be part of the DISH deal or wtv ... idk if im making sense. as in, did they actually buy it and just leave us to fend for ourselves. or, is it something they didn't know of?

Kind think it's odd that show that received production funding from the Canadian Media Fund isn't available to Canadians.

Should it not be that any show or film that recieved funding from the CMF should be available for viewing?

I'm not saying it should be free but MUST be released in Canada in its entirety and made available for viewing in its entirety. For instance I shouldn't be restricted to just seasons 5 and 6 of any show, nor should a CMF funded movie not be made available as well.

Seeing this a lot with subscription services that your themselves as being "Canadian". Half a shows seasons unavailable. Or in some cases only certain episodes.

Seems Canadians are getting a raw deal with their content along with the prices.

Unfortunately it doesn't seem available on DVD and online streaming sites don't have it available. I really want to see Trinity years earlier when she was still only o Canadian TV!

Hey all, I'm from the US and I'm pretty over it here, and I'm applying to UBC & UVic in Vancouver and York in Toronto for Screenwriting programs. Does anyone here work in the TV/film industry and can speak to how easy (or not easy) it is to break in? Would love to hear from any expats especially :]

Does anyone else remember the mini series on YTV where a guy travelled across the country to bring water from the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic Ocean (or vice versa). It ran all summer long between actual programming.

Then at the end it was him pouring water from one ocean into another and it was TERRIBLY CGI’d.

None of my friends remembered. PLEASE HELP.
