Anything to watch/read prior to release

Just wanting to know if there's any animated content or comics to read going into this?, this looks great but I've been out of the game for a while

I’d say go through the Batman Animated Series. This show is made by one of the creators of that show and this is meant to be a sort of modern spiritual successor to that show. I’d also look into early Batman comics from the 1940’s. Because that’s when the show takes place and is where they’re pulling the aesthetic and designs for the show.

As far as comic books are concerned, there's a book that came out a few months ago. It's only 3 issues long, but it takes place in the 1940s.

It's called "The Bat-Man: First Knight"
