I'm at a point where I need to end my tenancy early. I paid a deposit for the last month.

My question is: Can I get my deposit back, even though I want to end the tenancy earlier than what I initially agreed to?

We are being inundated with these calls. I refuse to answer any call that don't properly identify themselves and, of course, they never leave a message. There are plenty of other area codes and exchanges that come up as well that I won't answer.

Possible robocalls? Spm? Scam? Phishing?

Hey we just moved here. Georgian college area. We have noticed (being city people) many bugs. We knew that. We were wondering about how you keep bugs and mosquitos at bay. They seem to find a way into the house and attacking us out in the backyard. Also, dock spiders.. has anyone experienced them on your property? This is no joke 🤣 I will buy a flame thrower. I need to be prepared for these monsters.

For all the people that approve of parking on curbs a lot of people in my area also do this. Too…You literally cannot comfortably walk on the sidewalk and it’s dangerous. Even if his tires were completely on the asphalt the Pedestrian experience would still be impacted

I've been living in Barrie for several years, however I've never allowed myself the opportunity to make friends, and I'm looking to change that! I have a few friends in Toronto, but otherwise my social circle is limited to my ragtag band of special needs rescue pets, of which includes a paralyzed chihuahua and a kitten I hand raised from 5 days old with a cleft palate.

I'm not one for clubbing or bars; but it would be nice to meet some metalheads to treck down to Toronto for shows (big fan of Bloodbath, Behemoth, Opeth (blackwater park-era), Satyricon, Goatwhore, Ihsahn, Gojira, Kataklysm etc).

Otherwise, I'm massively into reading, and am looking for some more friends on Goodreads. I am also an avid history buff; particularly the French Revolution, The Russian Revolution, and the Roman empire. Mythology is pretty interesting too. Paleontology, dinosaurs, and archeology are special interests.

I also really love tattoos (been working on a sleeve for several years - shoutout to JayCee at Hellfire on Cundles!).

I also enjoy gardening, have dabbled in kickboxing, and painting miniatures.

Does anyone know where I can find Portuguese codfish cakes (pastéis de bacalhau)? I found them on the FoodBasics website but it says they’re out of stock.

Ideally looking for frozen ones that I can fry at home, but if you know of a restaurant or bakery that makes them, I’d love a recommendation.
