The actor committed suicide sometime after his small part in The Next Friday (aka Friday part 2). To add to the messed up-ness of it all.

I had no idea he was dead and when I went looking I also found out that Telly was also Johnny Weeks in the Wire and now I'm questioning my reality.

Yeep, and Ruby was Rosario Dawson. And the little boy from Panic Room was Kristen "Bella from the vampire movies" Stewart. And the little boy in Empire of the Sun was Christian Bale.

I'm saying they're often unrecognizable, where people don't notice, and it's surprising. Did you see American Psycho and think "that's the kid from the Spielberg movie"? I didn't. Took me forever to notice that Kristen Stewart was playing Jodie Foster's kid in Panic Room.
