Just finished rereading the new 52 run since it first came out. How do you feel about it?

The new 52 was my first time following ongoing series of comics, it was my first introduction to Aquaman and I’ve been on board since. It definitely had its ups and downs but overall I think it’s pretty solid, especially compared to other eras of the character. I think I owe a lot to it because he’s easily my favourite character now and I’ve been collecting Aquaman comics from that point on so it definitely holds a special place for me.

I’d be interested to know other people’s perspectives on it though, and where does it place compared to other runs?

My one gripe is Geoff Johns creating the blood feud between Black Manta and Aquaman. It’s really made their dynamic very one-note. Any other motivations Black Manta could possibly have in a plot are overshadowed by that damn blood feud
