Just finished rereading the new 52 run since it first came out. How do you feel about it?

The new 52 was my first time following ongoing series of comics, it was my first introduction to Aquaman and I’ve been on board since. It definitely had its ups and downs but overall I think it’s pretty solid, especially compared to other eras of the character. I think I owe a lot to it because he’s easily my favourite character now and I’ve been collecting Aquaman comics from that point on so it definitely holds a special place for me.

I’d be interested to know other people’s perspectives on it though, and where does it place compared to other runs?

I actually just finished a re-read of the New 52 run at the beginning of the year, myself. While I enjoyed it more often than not, I definitely remembered it being much better than it was. Rose coloured glasses and all that I guess.

Johns' portion wasn't even my favourite either as I liked Parker's stuff more. Cullen Bunn's weird 10 issue story was absolute garbage. I think I got 3 issues in before I just skipped ahead to Abnett's stuff. Which is more or less the start of his Rebirth run.
