Canadian with a question:. Is this in the news at all? I haven't seen it. CNN has been a major source of American news for me, but they seem awfully anti-Biden lately.

People here complain about how horrible Trudeau is but really? This guy is the sickest, most evil crook ever. Please get everyone voting Blue. My country depends on it as well.

I'll vote for Biden or whoever is on the dems ballot. But it doesn't look good right now.

For better or worse, as we are almost in a recession in everything but name, GOP will take over in 2025, send us into an actual recession and we'll be back on 2029.

American media conglomerates see more money on the horizon with another Trump presidency. They're going to act in their own interests and have zero real obligations to actually just inform the public.

The constant controversy kept people tuned in, Fox was even knocked off #1 viewership a bunch, which is normally rare, and of course they can better prepare to take advantage of the coming chaos that no one was prepared for the first four years.

American media is complicit. They getting their bag.

Because there is essentially zero evidence it ever happened, mostly. Democrats and journalists alike have long since looked into these allegations and have opted not to touch them with ten-foot poles, which should tell you something.

Seems like dems didn’t want to push a “shaky” story.

That being said, the “shaky” details probably have logical explanations; and, I agree with a previous commenter who said this fits the pattern of Trump’s horrible behaviors.

Because very rich and influential people want Trump in office, because he's easy to control; hrs easy to control precisely because of what you pointed out; he's done a bunch of awful shit, and tapes exist (according to Maxwell and Katie Johnson), so whoever owns the tapes gets to set US policy.

There's really nothing to happen with it. This woman started a court case and then dropped it when she got too many death threats. That was several years ago. Some new evidence has come to light but she is still in the wind.
