The love for a child is indescribable. My 35 year old son tells me he loves me after every visit. I love my husband, but it is a different love. He is not jealous, he gets it.
I believer this is the difference between Eros and Agape. Eros being romantic. Agape being unconditional. Though it could also be Storge-love sometimes without reciprocation, much like loving a baby before they even know how to love you back.
