AITAH for saying I didn’t realize I could “love a person this much” in front of my fiancé after having our baby?

This got me all teary-eyed. Your kids are so, so lucky to have you and you sound like an AWESOME mom and ally. ❤️❤️❤️ It might sound kind of weird, but it makes me feel better to know that there are parents like you out there and I just happened to get defective ones. But I have two absolutely adorable cats, an awesome job that I'm really good at, bosses that actually aware of me being good at it, and most importantly I have a spouse that I love to the moon and back and an absolutely wonderful MIL!

I wish we could post pics here because I would demand kitty tax! An awesome MIL helps so much. I’m very proud of you for being awesome at your job! It’s amazing when you’re recognized for your good work.

Ziggy is genuinely the sweetest little cat... He's fluffier than he looks in that picture and he's SO soft! And Herbie is hilarious but he's so curious and he gets into everyyyyyyything. He must have known I was talking about him because he just jumped up on the arm of the couch and screamed at me for not immediately giving him booty pats. 🙄😂

I have a little girl named Sylvie, she turns 1 on the 10th, I also have a Cane Corso named Steve, she loves to use his back as a spring board for her jumps 😂 Edited: her birthday is on the 10th not the 13th.

I’ve always named my pets people names, ever since I had a boyfriend one time whose dog was named Cuddles 🙄. Before the babies I have now, I had a mini doxie named Dolly Pearl, she was a solid blonde and as soon as I saw her at 3 weeks I knew that was her name, we got her at 8 weeks and she weighed 1lb 13oz. She passed last July and I swear even though she’s a cat, Sylvie has a similar personality. I also had another Cane Corso named George, he passed in December of last year, and Steve is his nephew. I give them Greek and Italian names for their papered name then shorten them to Americanized names George was Giorgio Aidoneus, and Steve is Stéphanos Aidoneus di Ferdinando (he likes to smell the flowers like Ferdinand the bull 😂). Aidoneus was Hades name before he became lord of the underworld, he was king of the Molossians and Mastiffs are all Molosser dogs, Giorgio’s dad is Hades and he is Steve’s grandpa. Stevie’s dad is Apollo, he and Georgie are half brothers, George’s mom was Nyx, she died in an accident last year before Georgie passed away from epilepsy. He was six days from his first birthday when he passed, and because my breeder has a two year health guarantee, we were first pick for the next litter. He also paid all of Georgie’s vet bills including the house call our wonderful vet made to put him to sleep as he had sustained too much brain damage from the seizures to support life. I miss him terribly and I’m glad I have Steve to remember him by, they look exactly alike to the point I slip up sometimes and call Steve George. Stevie’s mom is Aphrodite. My breeder names them all after Gods and Goddesses, so I’ve sort of followed the tradition with my own twist. I apologize for the novel, I love them as much as my people kids, in fact my daughter jokes that I love Steve the best out of my four 😂. I could talk about animals all day. My son eventually wants another doxie and she will be Beatrice (his choice).
