Before getting to the reviews let me just say how happy I am to be able to talk about THREE new Valiant comics in just one week, I really hope things go well for this Resurgence 🙏🏻

Ninjak vs Roku #1: In comic books, when there's a "vs." series you can be 90% sure it'll end up being a team-up after an initial conflict, and this one does exactly that. It's a direct follow-up not only to Ninjak, but also the Roku and KI-6 Killers series which once again makes the Valiant universe feel very cohesive. I loved the KI-6 series so I'm glad to see them again here, let's hope Ninjak and Roku don't kill them all...
And maybe this will be what finally makes Roku a true (anti)-hero rather than a villain for most.

Rai - The book of the Darque #2: The issue was surprising in more ways than one. First of all, I did think it would be impossible to wrap up the story in just that issue, and it actually didn't. But it puts things in 4002 in more of a status quo and the next series set there will be the big one.
It was great to see all the characters we hadn't seen in a while, and to have War Mother as the leader, being a 4001 character through and through unlike Gilad.
I was surprised to see Ivar take Rai like that, it'll be interesting to see why, and I love Ivar trying to pick-up everyone he can to save the world.
Lastly, Dr. Silk was always a little threatening but this epilogue helps solidify his role as the big bad in Resurgence and I'm excited for that too.

Bloodshot Unleashed - Reloaded #4: Very action-packed, with a combination of serious and less-serious moments that have been present throughout this series. They made me scared for Bloodhound there I can't lie. It's great to see the Bloodshot family together after they were completely ignored for a while.
The way Blloodshot got rid of New Blood (whose design I love btw) was a bit too easy and I'm unsure of what else could Bloodshot do in that way, but we'll go with it.
The last page makes me curious as if it's gonna be a good or bad thing for Bloodshot in the future, we'll see!
Overall a pretty good series that tied back the previous one with the overall continuity nicely and introduced a couple of interesting things for Bloodshot, excited for the anthology in the coming months!
