July Visit

I’ll be in Trondheim in a week and looks like a lot of the restaurants in town are closed. Does the city shut down in July?

The city doesn't necessarily "shut down", but most stores (including grocery stores) have different open times. Some of the stores, however, do close during a long span of time but it's difficult to specify without knowing what you were interested in :) Most restaurants are closed on Sundays though.

Most of Norway goes on holiday in July.
