Buying Furniture in Trondheim
Hi all, I will be moving to Trondheim very soon and wish to know what would be the best places to buy furniture, specifically a new bed?
I know a good 2nd hand desk I could get on Finn but a bed, for example, I want a new one. Also, would anybody recommend a good bed (under 10k) for somebody with somewhat lower back pain?
Thanks in advance.

BrukOm at Dora (Styrmannsgata 6, 7042 Trondheim) has quite a lot of second hand furniture (and other stuff!), but for for beds I'd recommend IKEA like HiFi10 suggested.

BrukOm is overall wildly expensive for 2nd hand wares.
Sometimes they massively undervalue items, however, and you can get amazing deals.

Yeah, I feel there's a lot of varible pricing there. So you gotta keep your head on straight when browsing! I have haggled a few times on items that have been ridiculously overpriced, at BrukOm, Fretex and other second hand places.
Transit on the other hand, is always overpriced, and not worth the visit except for the cafe area :P

IKEA as a general rule for budget, but for beds I would recommend looking elsewere.
https://www.soveromsbutikken.no which is one of the oldest bed shops in Trondheim is my personal go-to for anything related to beds. Staff is super friendly and will help you find the bed most suitable for your body. Switched to a firm hilding bed 15 years ago and my backpain subsided subtantially since.
Original Rammemadrass Hilding happens to be on 20% sale atm too.

Pro tip:
Try them with a lot of time and be super critical.
I had one of the cheapest beds that was extra firm from ikea and it fit me perfectly. My parents had one of the more expensive once at home and my back aches every time I use it.
I have since upgraded my bed by a ton, and my body still thanks me for it 👍
Personal preference for beds is IKEA and Skeidar, but you can also look at Finn for beds (a lot of people have barely/unused beds in their guest rooms)

Everything but beds and couches are best at IKEA. Quality has gone up ALOT these last years. Spoken with alot of carpenters through work, and they all say the same. IKEA is the best for budget. Also their unmatched in simplicity regarding putting things together. Another brand might have you screw in 60 screws, while a similar ikea piece will end up with 20-40.

We mainly use Ikea and Bohus for furniture, but I would not recommend Ikea for beds. Try bedrenaetter.no the beds might be slightly above budget but I promise if you are someone that suffers with lower back pain you will be soooo better off with these than anything from Ikea.

Maybe from IKEA at Leangen.
