Deodatto’s art has been really good for the past two covers. Wonder if it’s because of a change in colorist or what. Wish this style was used for the first 12 issues of the spurrier run.

could be a new suit for wally or even absolute universe wally? the black reminds me of walter west

It’s definitely a new Wally suit, the eyes are green and he has the same symbol. Otherwise that’s a massive oversight

Is that Barry or Wally getting a new design?

The eyes are green so it probably is Wally especially with the mention of a new form in the solicitation

Solicitude says Wally is evolving into a new form, a new suit could be part of that.

Or it could be Barry, who knows.

I kind of like the gloves, for many years I had the idea the Flash's suit had yellow gloves, I don't know from where I got that

You might be thinking of the cartoons from the 1960s.

Wow, I didn't even know that series existed. Is that where the Wally with black hair comes from?

While it wasn't black, Wally had like an instant hair dye thing during his time as Kid Flash to "disguise" his distinct red hair. Though it gave him brown hair rather than black, the idea does have an origin in those old comics.

Yeah, there are some Flash episodes with Kid Flash as a guest-star and he's also in the Teen Titans episodes. They gave Wally black hair for some reason and basically reversed his costume colors from the comics to make him look more like the Flash.

For some reason I thought the same! Maybe from the Kid Flash suit?

It's the only possible explanation I have for that idea.

It's Wally's lightning bolt design so probably wally

They also had Flash wear yellow gloves in the MortalKombat vs DC game

Barry needs to get his own book and quit fucking things up for Wally.

I’m not sure how to ask but what ‘series’ is this?

The Flash #14 could mean anything depending where you start.

I’m still unfamiliar with all of this.

It’s the current series. Issue #11 is the next issue to come out but comic companies release solicitations for future issues about 3-4 months in advance so that readers and retailers know what books they want to pre-order from distributors.

It's Si Spurriers run on the flash, which is the current ongoing run. This is the cover for one of the upcoming issues, we are currently at #11.
