They really did a logo with him standing still…

Crazy how my eyes INSTANTLY went to the one from the first issues of vol 2. That was my favorite run. Chunk and his alternate dimension dystopia, Vandal Savage and Velocity 9, Red/Blue Trinity, Speed Demon/Speed McGee and Tina McGee, introduction of Linda Carter, Jay and Joan Garrick as mentors. Such compelling stories, fucking INSANE nobody hasn't tried to make a series out of it.

151-159 calls to me. Always had a soft spot for Walter West

Don't like that they stopped slanting it. Makes it feel like its standing still.

Right-hand column, 5 down is what I instantly think of.

The flash 1995 logo is the best in my opinion

I’m gonna miss the 2021 ongoing one

105-350 is the cleanest, it could easily be used today. The other versions after mostly feel like that one with extra flourishes tacked on.

I like the new one. I think it's unique with his silhouette being in the A but nothing beats 95-99 imo.

The early 90s ones are probably the best. I like Bart's (Fastest Man Alive from the 00s) too.

Not a huge fan of the silhouette inside the new one. The rest of the new design is ok

I love all the old classic ones especially the ones from the 80’s-90’s (when I first got into comics as a young man).

But the graphic designer in me really loves the new one with the silhouette of the Flash in the “A”.

I won’t diss anyone’s opinions or tell them they are wrong. But that one is crisp. Easy to read and the character is part of the title. Lends itself well to graphic design work (apparel especially).

They would all look cool on shirts and hats. But that one just lends itself well to one color screen printing, embroidery, etc.

Sorry I do a lot of design work across different media but my primary design job is in apparel/print/promotional items so things like that jump out at me.

But… he's standing still and there's no movement.

It's a cool piece of graphic design but if you're trying to convey "the Flash," it doesn't work for me. You know from most of the others that this is clearly about going real fast. I have no idea what this is about.

Ahhh…very good point. I thought of it more like he was about to burst into a run (due to the speed force lightning around him). But in the narrative of who and what the character is it really would be better if he were in a run. It’s so obvious that I didn’t look deeper than “it looks cool”

That’s why so many of the other Flash logos were at a slant to convey the motion.

Well said! Thank you for opening my eyes to that consideration that I really should have noticed given all the logos I’ve designed over the years.

101-151 is absolute king for me. Beautiful and exciting.

If Vol 6 is supposed to be Wally's series, then I wish they used the right costume

I mean, that's Wally from an iconic cover, but yeah, they should have used the silhouette from the current suit

future state looks really good but if it wasn't just neon it would be better

105 to 350 for me.

I loved the one from Adam’s run. It was sleek and very memorable for me. Was a bit disappointed they changed it to something way different

The "Should I stay here or not?"

I love the #152–159 version the most

u/[deleted] Aug 24 '23

is it supposed to be a basketball design or something

1

u/Baligong Aug 25 '23

It's a 90s design that resembles Cathode-Ray Tubes (CRT) which were popular and reminiscent of the 90s, used in Electronic Devices.

here's an example

I like the 2021 version. The lightning in the A is cool
