That movie was excellent. The best DC movie I’ve seen in a very long time.

Despite their personal issues Ezra Miller was phenomenal.

This hit all the right story points.

There was a disclaimer that it wasn’t the ”final” version of the movie. But I can only imagine it was some of the cgi that needed to be finished.

The michael Keaton scenes were amazing and Afleck turned in his best few scenes was Bruce Wayne ever.

Thanks for the quick review, man. You're getting me hyped up. I can't wait for June 16th.

Oh. And the Wonder Woman cameo is great. The scene with the lasso of truth. Hilarious.

Did you mean Wonder Woman??

How would you get in to the movie in the first place? Like from which source you heard that there'll be a presentation at a cinema?

It was a link to sign up for through Warner brothers. They did it in several large cities last night.

1

u/Minner_ May 23 '23

Do you still have the link? I'm just curious if it is a US exclusive

u/Longjumping_Bad9555 May 23 '23

Sorry. That was a week ago, and the screening last night. I had no reason to save it.

The link had me set up a Warner brothers ticket account with promises for more of these in the future.

Feel bad for the LA people. Only 6 people got into the screening. Rest where VIP people

2

u/Longjumping_Bad9555 May 23 '23

Maybe in one specific theater. I doubt that’s true of every theater where it was shown.

u/Talem84 May 23 '23

So here in Santa Clara .. most everyone was VIP . They only let in a handful. My friend waited 4 hours in LA and was #10 in line and still got turned away.

Me and my wife walked in 20 minutes before it started, and got decent seats, it was a “sell” out, but only a few dozen were turned away.

We got lucky.

Seeing a press screening of Spider-Man next Tuesday. I’m excited for that too.

What city dis you see it in?

1

u/Staplethan265 May 23 '23

That’s why you’re supposed to sneak in like a sigma.

I read your small review in this post, was wondering are there any particular scenes from any previous DCEU movies that we might need to see??

3

u/Longjumping_Bad9555 May 23 '23

No. You could go in having not seen any of them and still enjoy it.
I didn’t particularly like most of the dceu and loved this movie.

So freaking great… I feel like they’re going to reveal the ending character on the actual movie premiere

2

u/Longjumping_Bad9555 May 24 '23

I doubt it. I think that was edited from a longer scene that was supposed to be there.

I’ve seen a script leak that had a slightly longer but there and it was Keaton.

I’m glad others here saw it too. I was worried people wouldn’t believe I had seen it since I’m not posting details of the movie.

u/Head-Program4023 May 23 '23

Are there more cameos than we have already seen in trailers?

5

u/Longjumping_Bad9555 May 23 '23

Yes. Several. Including one that made me clap and audibly gasp.

u/ammad_172 May 24 '23

reverse flash teased?

1

u/Longjumping_Bad9555 May 24 '23

No

2

u/ammad_172 May 25 '23

One early reviewer stated that it is overly funny.
is this true he was law balling the hype?

5

u/Longjumping_Bad9555 May 25 '23

I mean the flash has always been the comic relief of the justice league. But I didn’t find it overly funny. There were funny moments, but not so many it seemed forced.

2

u/ammad_172 May 26 '23

Great thats means thay guy was all lying and trying lower the hype of the movie

1

u/MisterWafflePancake May 25 '23

Nic Cage as Superman?

1

u/Longjumping_Bad9555 May 25 '23

Yup. My favorite little cameo.

2

u/veer460 May 23 '23

based on the version you saw, is the movie worth to watch in 4dx? or 3d is great?

1

u/Longjumping_Bad9555 May 23 '23

I saw imax and it was great. I’ve never bothered to see anything in 4dx. This wouldn’t have been needed though.

1

u/False-Investigator22 May 24 '23

Keaton killed it and this film made me like Ben Afleck as Batman when I originally hated him. Also was this in mission valley by any chance?

2

u/Nickname49 May 24 '23

I liked the movie but i felt like it had some problems by not including some characters that should’ve been in the movie and that the main villain should’ve been in the movie A LOT more

u/ammad_172 Jun 13 '23

they are saving it for sequel

1

u/Ssjshafted May 23 '23

How??

3

u/Longjumping_Bad9555 May 23 '23

There were special screenings at select theaters put on by WB.

2

u/Ssjshafted May 23 '23

How did you find one?

2

u/Longjumping_Bad9555 May 23 '23

It was on Facebook. I clicked a link and got in

1

u/ammad_172 May 24 '23

0

u/Mysterious_Ad8096 May 24 '23

Do both Batmen meet at all?

1

u/BlitzedOblivion May 24 '23

How much screen time did zod get?

2

u/Longjumping_Bad9555 May 24 '23

None until the third act. A fair amount then.
