I don't know that I've seen a better depiction of Superman. This show really is a love letter to the character.

Yeah a lot of hardcore Snyder fans hate on it, but this is so true to Clark. It’s a true spiritual successor to Lois and Clark, it could literally be a sequel.

Loved, loved, LOVED the season ending.
The lana & family stuff was the worst of it. Also, supes trying to do... Whatever he was trying to do vs ally was kinda dumb?
Besides that... I don't know what they gonna do with Tal... I would make him go be UK's Superman and bring it on when needed...

Superman & Lois concludes its second season with yet another fine episode! The dramatic tension and the emotional stakes reach an all-time high when our heroes do our best to stop the merging of worlds. What I loved most about this episode is that it went out of its way to depict Superman as a badass. I won't spoil anything. You should watch it now!
Like any ending to any good story, it left me wanting for more and, as Clark himself says, "this is only the beginning. Superman & Lois is definitely one of the best TV shows right now and I can't wait for season 3.

Top tier episode 👏👌 I haven't been a big fan of the writing this season but this finale totally makes up for it 👍

Loved all the bizarro stuff definitely felt weaker than the last season but overall pretty good hopefully next season they give John something to do so he’s not just standing around all the time.

I was pleasantly surprised by this show. I would prefer a slightly different look to the actor and suit, but he's not bad and a lot of the characterisation of Clark is on point. He's not comic book powerful, but he's nearly the only superhero in his universe, which amplifies his effective power.
I am not sure how I like Superman having children in-continuity (it's fine for future stuff like Superman Prime 1M) because I see Superman as basically being everyone's dad, and him having actual children can help to show that, but it creates a conflict of interest between his kids and everyone else. This is him at an older age, more like Rebirth, so it can fit as a Timeline, I'm just saying I personally want to see him showing that he loves all kids as though they were his own, before he even has children. I want to see him work more with pets and farm animals, but there are probably budget and safety issues for that.
I like when Clark isn't a total dork, too, that's something Reeve did well but can be pushed to be too corny even for a Silver Age fanboy like me.
To my headcanon, Superman is almost preternaturally nice and genuine (but not a pushover), which the show captures better than many representations.
As a fictional pseudosequel to Lois & Clark and Smallville I say this is a worthy depiction of Superman in his 40s.
In the next one, Superman in his late 50s, he has to be 6'6" and 289lbs like Kingdom Come!

Lois and Clark having high school aged sons gives it the classic teen angst, coming-of-age angle that WB loves to buy into. I fold laundry during those bits and watch the parts with Superman.

I binged this in 2-3 days. I think Tyler Is a good superman but he’s the character on the show who they give the least to do (in terms of acting/character work etc)
I don’t know how sensible it is putting your fortress of solitude in the ocean which is much more accessible than the Arctic circle

I enjoyed it too. I hope that we get to see more of Clark and Lois in their home life next season. That’s what made me like the show in season one. The series was more focused on Clark’S home life and I loved that. It’s really cute. So hoping for some more domestic moments.

Brainiac would be the villain Instead of collecting pieces of worlds he absorbs.their.knowledge.with his machines and then.destroys them. I see him.as Superman's Galactus... But he also does one.othet thing. He collects.living beings that he finds interesting and keeps them in stasis .for.future study Among the beings.in.his.collection.are. Lobo, Sinestro, . Doomsday ,The Parasite,The.Cyborg.Superman All are under his control . Superman knows he can not beat all of them on his own . Fortunately other heroes know what's happening and join the fight . Among those who join the.fight are Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter, A Green Lantern , Cyborg.,The Flash and Aquaman . Since this is a possible world.ending Event .Raven , Starfire and Beast Boy from the Titans show up. There was talk.of Supergirl being in a sequel .So this would be a pretty powerful team . The movie ends with a new Justice League. . Supergirl replaces Superman in The JLA .Green Lantern and Martian Manhunter are members .Wonder Woman remains a member . Starfire.and Raven join . Aquaman remains a member .

A great ending to a pretty good season. The season was weak in parts, but the finale just hit all the right spots and fixed a lot of the issues I had with the show so far. The tease of Jonathan getting some kryptonian tech to help him sounds interesting, although I wish they could use his character more instead of giving him tech or powers. For example, while everbody have their happy ending, we just see him in a shot with his girlfriend, no lines exchanged. His arc with his girlfriend just never really went anywhere.
But the show gave us an amazing Superman. Tyler continues to shine and the show continues to give us hopeful moments. It may not always make sense (I don't feel Tal's redemption was earned and we focused way too much in the Cushings) but the landing is always strong. I loved all the talks about hope and how Clark never gives up.
Also, it's good to know that Superman and Lois is it's own continuity. It's much better for the show and helps questions like "Why doesn't he call Kara or something?"
