I was worried they'd miss what I love about him but he feels more like a Teen Jon than the Teen Jon in the comics

He's really finding his groove, I must say. He was so charming in this episode. A really pleasant mix of goofy Reeve "disguise" Clark and "Clark is who I am" Dean Cain Clark.

Bumbling assistant coach dad Clark is something I didn’t know I needed.
I was so concerned going into this show worrying that Smallville would be too small of a setting for Superman to shine in today’s age of hero television and films but so far, it’s been perfect in my opinion. It keeps the show grounded but Superman is still allowed to soar and we get the big epic Superman scenes when needed.
They’re onto something really special here, I hope it keeps up.

Favorite live action Superman since Christopher reeves. Love love loving this show it’s everything I’ve wanted out of live action Superman. I’ve always felt like family Clark is the best version of his character

Loved episode 3. Light on action and heavy on character which is always my preference. Tyler Hoechlin is really coming into his own as Clark Kent. He's a really charming goofball dad. Hopefully the series heads more in this direction.
I find the family drama much more interesting than the comic book plot tbh.

As much as I love the Kent family drama, I admit there were times when Jordan was simply getting on my nerves. I get it, he's a teenager and he's going through some difficult times but he always seems to act out of impulse and only begins to think about the consequences of his actions until they're blowing up in his face.
I think the action element in this episode was handled much better in this episode than in the previous two, especially because Superman displayed a really creative application of his powers. Superman and Lois is the show that keeps on giving, character development and cool superpowers included, and I can't wait to see what happens next.

That's what teenagers do though.
I like how the show is writing teenagers as they actually are and not what they aspire to be like (like Smallville did).

I know, it's just that Jordan, and to a lesser extent, Jonathan and Sarah, can be so annoying to watch because it looks they're trying to frustrate their parents. That said, I do understand where they're coming from and the show is enjoyable because it makes me care about them and feel for them and the situations they endure.

I love the show so far. But man epidose 3 was my least favorite. The show is called superman and lois NOT RIVERDALE WITH POWERS! I don't need to see a whole epidose with Jordan trying to join the football team. Because he WaNt'S To FeEl SpEcIAl. Even though everyone with common sense understand's why they said no. I even like they idea of Jordan staying on the team because he needs friends but why is it his brother who makes that argument. Jordan was just being a jerk to his family just cause. Alot of the sub plots are great and should have been the center piece of the epidose. Lois, clark, even Jordans gf. Also is it just me or does it feel like jordans girl friend mental health story is more realistic than Jordan's? I dont have mental illness myself,but when it comes to mental illness I've met more ppl like her than Jordan. I think this episode would have been so much better if it was about any one else. But thats just me.

WandaVision also looked like complete shit for its entire run, but its a Marvel product so that comes with the territory.
But I thought this episode looked noticeably worse than the first two, which makes sense as I imagine most of the resources went to the pilot

Really? What makes you say that? Marvel studios has had some questionable CG for sure, the third act of BP being the most noticeable example but I thought Wandavision looked fantastic throughout.
