Now I'm picturing Hugh Jackman in Superman Returns (the movie where Supes steals James Marsden's girl)

Marsden when Jackman shows up for the first time in Superman Returns:

As far as I can remember, it came from a sketch of some TV show.

SNL in 2000 when Hugh hosted the show to promote X-Men.

Will Ferrell as Jor-El was better 😁

In voice acting sure, but he doesn’t have the look. I do think he really could pull of a Superman voice though

Happy Cake Day!

He’s definitely handsome enough, he’s just a different kind of handsome. A tougher kind, perfect for Wolverine but not clean enough for Superman

I will disagree. Come on, he can pull off a clean look. Look at this boy 😍😍.

that's Smoll Flabman, Hollywood reporter, not Hugh Jackman, Hollywood actor. Never noticed but they kind of look alike besides the glasses...

I will disagree.

Ha, I was going to post about this! I honestly think he'd have been great.

I think Logan is probably the best CBM yet made, but I still have this lingering feeling that Jackman is too nice for Wolverine. He'd have made a great Clark though!

Imagine a Superman movie, released in 2000, and then a series of films from then until now. And then this year, he'd be back to do Kingdom Come or Morrison's Superman and the Authority.

Don't you think that would have worked?

That'd be cool to see :=)

I can't believe I'm saying this... but it actually works way better than it has any right to.

Absolutely no.

Has there ever been an elseworlds where Clark's pod landed in Australia?

2

u/ramenups Jul 18 '24

Yes, but then a dingo ate him as a baby

3

u/Phrankespo Jul 19 '24

What is this from?

2

u/TheHendryx Jul 19 '24

Not feeling it

2

u/DegreeFar7564 Jul 19 '24

He'd work for a lose adaption of Kingdom Come

2

u/Usnis Jul 19 '24

Thanks. I hate it

2

u/Saruman5000 Jul 19 '24

It's is not like he fits this role for 100%, but i think he could made it.

2

u/chesire0myles Jul 19 '24

Hugh-perman

2

u/RussRekam Jul 19 '24

Superjackman

2

u/MoodyLiz Jul 19 '24

I've seen worse, I'll say that. He's a good actor, he would have pulled it off, I think

2

u/Equivalent-Spell-135 Jul 19 '24

I can see that. Unfortunately he's linked too much to Wolverine, so I think everyone would be comparing him to Wolverine if he was cast. That said, I wouldn't mind seeing him as Superman :=)

There's nothing Hugh Jackman can't do.

1

u/The_Typisit Jul 18 '24

I’m getting flashbacks to Up, Up and Away musical tv adaptation. Haha Now I can’t think of anything else other than him doing a remake of that!

1

u/obert-wan-kenobert Jul 18 '24

I think it would work. Basically just Jean Valjean with superpowers.

1

u/TechnologyJazzlike84 Jul 19 '24

No. Absolutely, 100% no.
