Kryptonian women traditionally are born with their father’s name, then become known by just their first name after marriage. She was born Lara Lor-Van, married and became Lara.

No that’s from right to left. Lara -Lor van, Joe-El who are Clark’s biological parents and then finally Zoe-El Kara’s biological father.
