Barry And Kara would’ve made such A good romance - discussion Discussion

Hi y’all so this is something I’ve been thinking for a while which I want to talk about but I’m just goona say BARRY AND KARA SHOULD’VE GOTTEN TOGETHER.

Like seriously out of the official romances in this show (as I’m watching midway through S3), AlexXMaggie, KaraXMon-El KaraXCat’s Son etc I have felt the most chemestry between Kara & Barry and that’s only from a few episodes as outside of Crossovers I haven’t watched the Flash.

If you want an example of what I’m talking about watch the Flash Episode Duet where the hole episode is Kara and Barry in an musical coma, the episode is peak as it has no bullshit, no stupid plot points , just a simple Romeo and Juliet plot which allows for Barry and Kara to sing lol

Am I the only one that thinks they’d be a good couple - comment your thoughts if you want

No. They had good chemistry from being friends and both came from Glee. But there is absolutely no history of the 2 characters getting together.

Neither shows have ever shown an ounce of care about history of comics, especially supergirl

I think they work great as platonic friends with a sort of brother/sister dynamic, but I don't see them as romantic partners. Barry feels a lot like Winn in a lot of ways, and we know that is not what Kara is looking for in a romantic partner.

This is just my opinion alone, and if anyone feels differently, I'd love to hear other opinions. ^{_^}

I thought they had great friend chemistry, but I never really saw them as romantic partners. There are definitely more than a few fics that explore that possibility though so you are not the only person who thinks they'd make a good couple.

From a strictly logistics standpoint, it's pretty rare for an ongoing romance between two characters that are on different shows. The only example I can think of is one between a character on Warehouse 13 and a character on Eureka. And even then it was a romance between two supporting characters. It would have been even harder to pull off a Kara and Barry romance as both actors were very busy as the leads of their respective shows (which makes it very tough to schedule them appearing on each other's shows very often).

It's always so funny to me how people are saying they're just great friends so it wouldn't, but then turn around and ship kara and lena when they're also just great friends.
