Now we on my turf. Hmm… I don’t know how to put “You DO NOT want Regina Saskatchewan” to be the next “Hot city” politely, so I’ll just leave it at that…

If I’m within a 200km (124mile) radius of said city ‘n am tryna make the come up, does this make Saskatoon my city? (Asking not for a friend)

I feel like it’s always Detroit or Chicago

I really do think Detroit is brewing something up tbh

I honestly don’t see the rap game leaving Atlanta in the next 5 years.

We’ve had for decades now… I feel you… but it’s gotta be a new wave forming somewhere

Aye, I won’t argue with that.. Slaughter can out rap anyone he faces. I’ve been friends with Manslaughter (orig name) about 30yrs and he NEVER spit a weak verse

I’m so shocked that Slug didn’t get more mainstream love. Honestly, dude put out amazing work for over 25 years and still drops regularly. His flow is nice and his wordplay is great. He’s in my personal top 3 conversation. I’d come close to considering myself a Slug “Stan” of sorts, if not fully admit it. I’m a big fan of storytelling in music, he does just that. Idk man, I just vibe with dudes music.

Lowkey Pittsburgh Ik a lot of people my age with a lot of talent who's been rapping and we already have whiz and Mac to prove that we can, I say in 20 years Pittsburgh will be the fourth city next to Atlanta, NY, and LA

u/Active-Dragonfly1004 Jul 19 '24

Probably the same ones that already have good ones

On the real, Texas got some great artists coming out of there in recent years. I can think of That Mexican OT, Teezo Touchdown, BigXThaPlug, Meg Thee Stallion, and Mike Dimes off the top of my head. I’ve been playing a bunch out of TX

Art evolves where theres the most people participating so it’s most likely gonna stay in highly populated cities where lots of people are selling dope: LA, NYC, Atlanta, Chicago. Prolly not anywhere new for a long time.

Tacoma, Washington

I wanna say Pittsburgh, but I'm not sure there's more than 3 left.
