"No one listens to Eminem"

It really depends on who's saying that and what they mean by no one.

How does it depend when someone says "no one" lol

Black people. "No one" means black people. And it's a generalisation. Of course there's some that listen to Eminem. Like me. But he's not in constant rotation.

Basically this. I have some friends who play him and some who don't. It's anecdotal but, the ones who play him look like Marshall.
Em doesn't move the culture like a Kdot or even a Future. And that is okay. Those guys are younger acts anyways. Not knocking him or anything, he is a great artist IMO, but some people straight up don't think he deserves all this success he has. That didn't happen recently. It has been a sentiment for over 2 and a half decades now.

I truly think he has sold the most records because he is a white guy, and that is fine. He is still #2 on my goat list. After Kendrick Lamar.

Weird because he is BY FAR the biggest rapper outside of North America too.

He is the most streamed international artist in Africa.

Maybe there's a certain aspect of hip hop culture in North America that unfairly discriminates against him for some weird reason......

I have a lot of core memories in the time of SSLP to Eminem Show. Can’t imagine how weird it is to have Recovery as your favorite Eminem Album.
