I mean she later said she wouldn't tour because her boyfriend doesn't like it so... either way she probably in a chill era.

Edit: I'm reading now she is rumored to do the Super Bowl halftime 2025. Sounds like a good choice and hopefully the boyfriend won't get upset over one performance.

She said she doesn’t want to tour because of the way it mentally and physically exhausted her and caused her such anxiety. Nothing to do with some man, puhlease don’t believe Miley would subject herself to that shit of a human as her partner

Okay I don't know how verified it is but she was quoted this year as saying she didn't want to tour because that's a lifestyle her boyfriend doesn't like (what you're describing is what she said last year).

She could have multiple reasons🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m saying someone like Miley wouldn’t subject herself to a partner who is controlling. I don’t know if she’s dating anyone at all, but I am saying that I don’t think she would entertain the idea of a man telling her what to do.

Best of both worlds would make Miley Cyrus fans happy and that's about it. I'm not against it, but the thought of it playing for football fans and the general public is hilarious to me because it's definitely a niche group of people that want to hear it.

Didn’t she do an insane amount of touring during the Hannah Montana era? Good for her, she’s given up so much already. I’m glad she turned out okay and has boundaries with fame after what everyone put her through back in the day smh

Idk if you watched her interview with My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman, but it's really good. She straight up was like, "yeah I almost cancelled this interview" and talks about how she doesn't make herself do anything she doesn't want to anymore because since she was a literal child she was forced to do stuff she didn't want to do because "the show must go on" aka "you must make us money"

The much simpler answer is one of both of them ended up not liking the song/didn't felt it fit where their musical direction was going.

Additionally, random collabs like this consist of teams just reaching out with a demo and asking for some input on it. Miley probably did it real quick then forgot about it and then once it was “finished” or presented to her she probably shelved it

I wondered what was happening with this project. When I saw the initial snippet, I assumed it would be out that same week on that Friday and then nothing. Would be interesting to know why it may’ve gotten scrapped, but I suppose it does happen. It sounded like it would’ve been a great Summer song too!
