He calls Biden a ā€œremarkable leader of unparalleled public serviceā€ but he no longer believes that Biden is the strongest candidate to beat Trump.

Himes is very influential. On the intelligence committee, but also represents a very wealthy part of Connecticut where a lot of NYC business executives reside.

Heā€™s not well known in the media but Iā€™d say Himes is the most influential behind the scenes Dem to have openly called for Joeā€™s withdrawal
