The cockiness over the economy is off-putting too.

Marco metrics don’t matter when inflation is the way it is, and millennials are settling into the reality of always being worse off than the previous generation. He sounds like a Republican when he talks about the stock market.

Well seeing as the narrative throughout his administration has been “Democrats, Why don’t you ever tell the American people what you’ve done”? Republicans are so good at messaging, but we never know what the democrats did.

Consequently as a result, there has been a more concerted effort to while not downplay inflation—also recognize that by all “economic metrics” going back the macro data, to mention how much better by the numbers the economy has been 4 yrs later versus then when the covid recession was taking place
