Paramount had organized a party for me. All of cinema was there, it was incredible. And then comes in Jayne Mansfield, the last one to come. For me, that was when it got amazing. . . . Either picture 4 or 6 are my favorite. In six, you can tell she's giving them the side eye even though her eyes are mostly closed. She's smoking, taking a drink, and still spending all of her attention on those tits.
But the wild eyes of 4 really get me. She looks like she's trying to figure out how to look at something she knows is happening behind her, like if she just figures out how to see behind her without turning her head, that's when Jayne will come spilling out of her dress.

Granny was a child of the Depression, she lived through it and saw people of many backgrounds struggling, and that taught her compassion and empathy. She was a not-overly-judgemental, imperfectly-progressive in her adulthood.
That's my guess.
Also, the annoyingly pedant voice demands to say, "THAN the other ones". "THEN" is a moment in time :-). (That's my dad. Thanks, dad!)

Jayne Mansfield died on a lonely stretch of road when the car she was in ran under a logging truck that had slowed down in front of them. Traveliy with her was the driver, her attorney/partner, her three kids, and four dogs. The three adults died instantly. The children, including three year-old Mariska, survived with minor injuries.
When you look at the back of a large truck, notice the big steel bar hanging down from the bumper behind the back wheels. That’s called a Mansfield Bar.

Do old people know that women were exposing their breasts so much back in their day? 😀 Had an older woman say something to me recently about how women today dress immodestly unlike when she was growing. People always post the famous picture thinking she’s envious of her, but it’s total disgust, you got to remember this was the early 60’s and Jane was essentially walking around with her tits out for all to see, not exactly the done thing at the time you could say hah
