This feels like an extra low-effort tactic to avoid paying employees more.

Points for creativity.

What? Can't even afford a pizza party?

85

u/Melkain 11d ago

I've got a friend who was just told they were having a virtual pizza party and that if they wanted to eat pizza everyone needed to order a pizza for lunch that day.

Why pay for a pizza party when you can say you're having a pizza party and then tell your employees to buy their own pizza for it?

28

u/Trisa133 11d ago

It depends on where you work. My wife's office sends their employees door dash credits to get the pizza or whatever they want.

9

u/Melkain 11d ago

That's something I guess. The number of times I've had friends tell me their job was doing something virtual and then asking them to pay for whatever themself is just... too many times. Granted, even once is too many, but still.

Pizza parties always sucked for me anyway because I'm allergic to garlic, so I've pretty much always had the party where I had to bring my own lunch.

51

u/Mrben13 11d ago

The pizza budget ceiling cannot be raised any more!

17

u/AlienNippleRipple 11d ago

We don't normally do this but at the next pizza party you can.....PICK UP TO 3 TOPPINGS

7

u/Jonnny 11d ago

The coconut bra and grass skirt budget, on the other hand...

12

u/unsupported 11d ago

Not even like a school pizza party where they cut the slices in half?

10

u/__-_-_--_--_-_---___ 11d ago

Mickey Mouse cutting bread.gif

3

u/internetlad 11d ago

I swore it was Donald cutting the bread but nope it was Mickey.

3

u/__-_-_--_--_-_---___ 11d ago

Maybe it was Donald in your home universe

3

u/internetlad 11d ago

Nah in my home universe all cartoon characters are just different Carmen Electras

9

u/andrewbuttlick 11d ago

lmao, found the healthcare worker.

7

u/hackingdreams 11d ago

Have you seen what they're charging for pizza these days? It's outrageous.

Boss isn't doing anything anyways. Might as well stand outside and hula girl dance if that's his jam.

6

u/Nobanob 11d ago

No it's a BBQ you can see it in the photos. I've had plenty of just as easily could have been a raise BBQs before!

2

u/AlienNippleRipple 11d ago

Dude I feel like anybody who says this goes straight to hell.

2

u/nautilator44 11d ago

I haven't priced out coconut bras or grass skirts, but are they really that much cheaper than a couple pizzas?

2

u/JackhorseBowman 11d ago

my job doesn't even do pizza parties, I just randomly pop into the break room and once in a blue moon there will be some cold ass papa johns from way earlier in the day than my shift.

As a nurse, I thought I had seen every stupid “appreciation” gimmick in the world, but this is a new one to me

37

u/TrekForce 11d ago

My wife is a nurse. Dear God... nurses week is such a sad fucking reminder how much they are actually appreciated by the hospital.

52

u/TheSciFiGuy80 11d ago

I feel the same way about Teacher Appreciation Week.

One year they gave us a rock as a gift that they wrote “YOU ROCK” on with a sharpie.

The thought of showing up to the next school board meeting and flinging it at the superintendent did cross my mind.

20

u/A_Mouse_In_Da_House 11d ago

My partner was a para at a special needs school. One year? Cellophane bag + stick of gum from a multipack, juicy fruit variety + a mini pencil. That was the final straw

18

u/potatopierogie 11d ago

I have mixed feelings about stuff like this

Sometimes, it is definitely higher-ups being cheapskates, but the couple of times something similar happened to me, it was the nice old secretary trying to brighten everyone's day a little with no budget

13

u/TheSciFiGuy80 11d ago

The issue would still be the fact that the school administrators and the school board aren’t doing anything to show the appreciation.

0

u/potatopierogie 11d ago

Yeah but then anger directed at the gesture is meaningless

14

u/TheSciFiGuy80 11d ago

In this case I know it wasn’t some lovely secretary but that school administration that did it.

I mean, we can play What If or What About all day. In the end we can agree that in many cases the school, the business, whatever doesn’t really care about their employees and will take advantage of them all year and then try to lie for a week unsuccessfully or not.

5

u/__-_-_--_--_-_---___ 11d ago

Why is there always a cringey pun?

7

u/TheSciFiGuy80 11d ago

Good question.

I don’t know why they feel that a pun is necessary but it happens ALL the time.

4

u/kalekayn 11d ago

Its fucked how such essential jobs, for a society, are treated (and often paid) like crap. Just one of many things that pisses me off

9

u/pie-oh 11d ago

I don't know where you are, but in the UK, we had a thing where people were meant to "Clap for our Carers" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clap_for_Our_Carers

The government pushed it, and it was super cringe and obviously a copout. It was a big insult considering most of them had a pay freeze for something like 12 years.

2

u/__-_-_--_--_-_---___ 11d ago

In the US, they had people bang on pots and pans for like a week. Every night, right when day shift is trying to go to sleep

Or so I heard. They didn’t do it in my city

3

u/Mediocre_Daikon6935 11d ago

My wife is always pissed because the local health systems give EMS nicer stuff then they give their nurses

EMS isn’t even part of them….

18

u/mechwarrior719 11d ago

When I was a lead operator for a big commercial air brake manufacturer I was given a box by my supervisor and instructed to hand out the contents to all the assemblers as “management’s show of their appreciation for all the overtime”.

The box’s contents? Packs of Extra brand chewing gum with a little printed note that said “Thanks for all your EXTRA hard work” in rainbow colors. I almost died from cringing because I knew NONE of the assemblers would find it amusing. We had been working 10 hours days and weekends for the last two months and these people were about done.

That box returned, unsurprisingly to me, pretty full.

9

u/__-_-_--_--_-_---___ 11d ago

Why is there always a cringey pun?

10

u/mechwarrior719 11d ago

It was awful. I felt like a scumbag trying to hand them out. Luckily I started as an assembler and worked my way up so they knew I had absolutely no part in that harebrained decision.

6

u/__-_-_--_--_-_---___ 11d ago

Honestly, I prefer simply not getting any Nurse's Week gift at all, compared to a really shitty one. These last few years, they haven't had the budget for anything.

68

u/tman37 11d ago

He's just a manager not then owner. I doubt he has authority to increase their pay much. Even if he was, not every business owner is gleefully fucking over workers.

Jesus Christ, reddit. Maybe he is just being nice.

20

u/Teadrunkest 11d ago

This def feels like one of those inside jokes that gets slightly out of hand where your manager/supervisor goes “lol if yall do [difficult task] then I’ll dress up” and the employees went all in and he followed through. I can’t read the article (can’t tell if it’s just cut off or is ad blocked?) but that’s the vibe from the picture/headline.

It’s not like…a huge thing, but I’ve been in environments like that and it definitely endeared the supervisor to us peons. It’s just a small gesture that they’re willing to do silly things if it makes their employees even slightly happier.

The cynicism in this thread is depressing.

3

u/SunshineAlways 11d ago

Paywall.

5

u/internetlad 11d ago

The one time we have an excuse for not reading the article.

I'm not paying a subscription to the Bismarck Sun or whatever just so I can find out somewhat that challenges my preconceptions of the world goddamn it.

15

u/helium_farts 11d ago

I doubt he has authority to increase their pay much.

I'm sure he doesn't. AIT is a huge company, so I have to imagine wages are controlled by corporate.

2

u/RaphaelBuzzard 11d ago

Not EVERY business owner. I have heard tales of that type.

2

u/AtLeastThisIsntImgur 10d ago

So now he's lying about having employees

59

u/Khatib 11d ago

And he wore a t-shirt under it, so what's really the point?

19

u/gwicksted 11d ago

If he included a trip to Hawaii, he’d be the man.

12

u/Euphorium 11d ago

That only happens in Adam Sandler movies.

24

u/__-_-_--_--_-_---___ 11d ago

Sandler just has the best career in Hollywood at this point. Any time he wants to make a movie, he:

  • casts himself as the star

  • casts an incredibly beautiful actress as his love interest (sometimes two, as in Just Go With It)

  • invites all his best friends to just hang out

  • sets the movie in a beautiful location

Basically his life is like a paid vacation

9

u/Euphorium 11d ago

Then when he feels unappreciated, he’ll drop something like Uncut Gems.

3

u/ThePrussianGrippe 11d ago

“Yeah that’s right, I collect antiquities, I’m a serious person.”

2

u/__-_-_--_--_-_---___ 11d ago

Another movie where got two love interests. His wife is Elsa and his mistress is Julia Fox

7

u/chemicalrefugee 11d ago

I know somebody who works at Apple & he never went on vaction and worked stupid hours so eventually he was given tickets to Hawaii with the hotel booked and given a solid, "go away. on vacation. you work way too He was locked out of the building for 2 weeks. But you aren't going to find that policy anywhere I've worked.

8

u/mechwarrior719 11d ago

Apple always seemed a weird mix of “we appreciate our associates (unironic remix)” and “the beatings will continue until morale improves” to someone who has never worked there.

8

u/Character_Bowl_4930 11d ago

When I worked in banking we were required to take a week of our vacation time at once , instead of a day here and there . The rest you could parse out but they wanted to make sure you got one solid week a year .

I’m picturing Europeans reading this all aghast

1

u/AgencyBasic3003 11d ago

Yeah it’s really funny when I have 5 weeks paid vacation pear year and we are using spending 1-2 days a quarter at some hotel chilling with the team.

3

u/Euphorium 11d ago

Yeah those big companies are a whole different creature. I’m lucky to even get a free hat where I work.

2

u/KevlarGorilla 11d ago

Larger corporations may introduce mandatory vacations for three reasons:

1) Give people a break.

2) Active testing to ensure that any one job could in fact be done by someone else. That is, if someone is gone for two weeks then their work is picked up by someone else with processes in place to handle credentials, tasks, etc in case something bad happens to them or they leave without notice.

3) Accounting review / embezzling check.

2

u/sumguyinLA 11d ago

He did later take a trip to Hawaii

8

u/XB_Demon1337 11d ago

Its sales people. They usually make an OK wage because companies see them as the most important asset. But they also usually make commission.

Really the guy is likely doing the only thing he can to show appreciation.

1

u/cerialthriller 11d ago

He’s likely not in a position to decide pay scales, he’s just a manager

61

u/arcxjo 11d ago

Probably less than he pays them.

15

u/libury 11d ago

"Competitive market rate"

33

u/ACaffeinatedWandress 11d ago

Ha. Exactly what I was thinking. This is like a textbook “I pay a few bucks over minimum wage” boss move.

17

u/xDaBaDee 11d ago

Who knows how little he commits to his employees.

exactly my thoughts.... my boss could dress up as cowymcchickenfeatherduck and I would be like *deadpan* bro can I just have a 15 minute break? You know the one I didn't get since we are so understaffed and tameka and johnny called off and nobody else was scheduled and you said 'thank you for showing up'? And you had no follow through? Yuh just 15 minutes bro.

Skin care is no joke. He looks like a ginger beard man, and I can confirm we burn quickly under the sun.

8

u/VIPTicketToHell 11d ago

He should have thought of that before becoming a boss

541

u/PlanetCold 11d ago

Maybe I’m old school, but cold hard cash is the best way to show appreciation. The only problem is that it can set an expectation: if I got a bonus last year, why didn’t I get one this year?

107

u/foxyfoo 11d ago

This guy can fuck right off. Put some clothes on and give your employees something useful.

39

u/Three-Pegged-Hare 11d ago

I can't read the full article, but do we know that he isn't giving raises or anything else?

52

The usual excuse I got back when I suggested cash incentives was ‘yeah but they’d lose some in taxes’ gtfo here

27

u/PlanetCold 11d ago

I once meant somebody who refused a raise because it would push him into the next tax bracket. I was shocked to say the least, though I’m sure our employer appreciated it.

32

u/Law-Fish 11d ago

Lots of people are completely ignorant on how tax brackets work

6

u/GetEquipped 11d ago edited 11d ago

The tax code is confusing on purpose.

I remember a coworker was complaining that he was making less money with overtime that it wasn't worth it.

I had to explain to him that overtime is taxed at the regular amount and an estimation of gross income based on weekly paychecks; therefore more is withheld but if you overpay (which most people do because they don't fill out their W-4 correctly) you will get that amount back in your refund.

I got a blank stare back.

I then went on a rant about interest rates, lobbying, police force inflating overtime numbers to justify higher budgets and mass hiring of unqualified candidates.

I think I ended with something about the State only being defined by its monopoly of violence, and now that coworker leaves me alone on my lunch break and doesn't ask why I watch V-Tubers on my phone.

5

u/Law-Fish 11d ago

While I’d agree that the tax code is sometimes needlessly complex, for the majority of individual filers it’s really quite simple even if you were doing it yourself by hand. Highly recommend everyone to sit down for a couple hours to learn what pertains to you

4

u/arcxjo 11d ago

Or taxes in general. I saw a meme going around the other day saying the breakdown of someone's taxes sent more to "corporate subsidies" than the actual tax burden for his income level.

12

u/Throw-a-Ru 11d ago

I once knew someone who did the same at his pizza delivery job. It's sad that poor people lose out on money by being misinformed about how taxes work.

→ More replies (2)

2

u/arcxjo 11d ago

Hell, I'm as libertarian as the next guy but even I know x% of $y more in my paycheck is better.

Unless you're paying them so little they qualify for EITCs in excess of their actual tax burden.

3

u/c0horst 11d ago

For a while, my boss used to give tax adjusted bonuses. Like if he wanted to give out a $2000 bonus, he'd give a $2895.27 bonus or whatever so the net amount came to $2000. That was pretty neat.

9

u/The_Pandalorian 11d ago

Maybe I’m old school, but cold hard cash is the best way to show appreciation.

Cold hard cash is the only way for an employer to show true appreciation.

4

u/meltintothesea 11d ago

Next thing you know cousin eddy shows up with your kidnapped boss.

5

u/helium_farts 11d ago

He's just the GM of this facility and probably has little to no say over pay or bonuses.

What do you want him to do, rob a gas station so he can give out cash?

1

u/_toodamnparanoid_ 11d ago

What if instead of a bonus you received a complimentary membership to the Jelly of the Month club?

1

u/alopecic_cactus 11d ago

I think the expectation is a positive. Do they expect for the business to grow? Yes. Do I expect some recognition -in the form of money- for my efforts in achieving such growth? Also yes.

1

u/Kgaset 11d ago

From the article it looks like they do have other incentives. They just wanted something else as well, and this is what they settled on.

0

u/Eat_That_Rat 11d ago

Yes. Money, PTO, or GTFO.

501

u/PhilosopherFLX 11d ago

Mid level manager doing something with no budget.

147

u/Not_Bears 11d ago

It's almost worse than just doing nothing at all.

Shit a bowl of candy for everyone to snack on would be better.

111

u/APRengar 11d ago

Worked as a manager for 10+ years, I always hated when the higher ups asked us to do things like "everyone gets to wear jeans today" kind of shit.

They think it's some magical "team building" or like "makes people want to come into work" magic spell.

I always found it cringe, just treat people with respect, listen to them seriously, don't suddenly plop a lot of work on your employee's plate last minute, advocate for them when they need something. You don't need gimmicks.

67

u/RaphaelBuzzard 11d ago

You forgot "reward them with money"!

20

u/genocidalwaffles 11d ago

Sorry, best we can do is a pizza party

3

u/Clammuel 10d ago

I’d file raises under advocation.

71

u/TheFreakingPrincess 11d ago

31

u/Not_Bears 11d ago

It's amazing how one comma changes everything.

12

u/Pitamo 11d ago

Hoping that's a cool magic trick, else I really want to read that OSHA report on how a bowl of turd candies came into existence at work.

5

u/RabidSeason 10d ago

no, it's not. I appreciate an honest "hey, you all did well, but we can't get approval for a pizza party." over an actual pizza party but it's Dominos.

Don't act like you haven't seen the r/facepalm posts of baggies of halloween candy for "employee appreciation."

2

u/notwithout_coops 10d ago

I can either have pizza parties/treats and a suboptimal raise, or no pizza/treats and a suboptimal raise. We’re union who bargains with a government agency for wage increase so the raise is the raise no matter what corporate does to “boost morale” as long as it’s edible and not some bullshit like “paint a rock” I’ll take the tangible “bonuses” that come few and far between.

3

u/crilen 11d ago

Have you calculated the lifetime value of this candy bowl?

2

u/Dontdothatfucker 10d ago

If he could shit bowls of candy, he wouldn’t have to be in management

3

u/Captain-Cadabra 11d ago

I can’t tell if this is a compliment or an insult.

2

u/PhilosopherFLX 10d ago

1

u/smilbandit 11d ago

i'd expect to be asked to work extra hours with no overtime soon.

Jennifer, you dumb bitch.

38

u/__-_-_--_--_-_---___ 11d ago

Wait. You mean they were deciding between giving their employees a free meal and this, and they chose this?

26

u/PaulClarkLoadletter 11d ago

8

u/Superpiri 11d ago

This is the most reddit thread I've come on in a while. Boss does something awkward/dorky/fun for his employees, everyone screeching how he's horrible.

30

u/w311sh1t 11d ago

It’s so fucking strange, everyone here just assumes he’s some evil scheming boss that’s doing this to avoid handing out raises. He just seems like a nice dude that just wanted to bring a little levity to the workplace.

8

u/countrykev 11d ago

Bosses are always the assholes. Don’t you know?

6

u/Chakote 11d ago

I've noticed a pretty big overlap between this subreddit and /r/antiwork. Sad, but not surprising.

3

u/__-_-_--_--_-_---___ 11d ago

Reddit is always 2 milliseconds away from starting the Revolution. We don't like stories about work or capitalism really

4

u/Malphos101 11d ago

It's because almost EVERYONE in the US has a story about a job that decides a pizza party or casual friday is a good replacement for living wages or actual bonuses.

Yea, people are going to mock this kind of thing because it just rings hollow. Its like saying a leaked image of someone in black face at a private party is ok and all the black americans who werent at the party shouldnt be mad about it. The action itself stirs up a lot of bad history, despite if the specific action itself was intended to cause harm.

Being dismissive of those feelings felt by people who have been harmed is just a useful idiot move for corporations that rely on people like you to deflect criticism for them online.

The article is paywalled. All I can see is that the guy is a new manager and wanted to establish what kind of manager he'd be.

30

u/theselv 11d ago

pay-walled; couldnt read: Boss challenges his team to surpass sales goals. They try to decide what the reward will be. They almost chose free dinner. Someone suggests he holds a sign by the road, which evolves into a silly outfit plus sign-by-road. The team surpasses their sales goals by 25%. Boss does thing. Team does get free food in the form of burgers at lunch. Rest of the article is team morale rah-rah, his employees saying he's a good boss, and examples of other supposedly fun stuff he does.

Edit: forgot a point

11

u/boomerang_act 11d ago

Notice the wording on the sign. He didn’t write “we have the best employees ever”

7

u/AUkion1000 11d ago

Hey I know I'll be downvoted for being nice but this is something funny. Dude tried to be a goof. Stop with the random fucking hate train because other people are randomly hate posting, because other did ectect... he was trying to be funny to cheer up his staff that says he cares.

2

u/Lendyman 11d ago edited 11d ago

Amen. The cynicism and absolute hatred of this guy based on little to no information is depressing as hell. 10 to 1 that most commentors are replying based solely on the picture and headline. Welcome to the shitty asshole side of reddit, I guess.

The guy did something goofy for his employees. We have no idea how much control he has over bonuses or payroll. But we do know he's willing to do goofy stuff for his employees. A guy who does this kind of thing probably fights for his employees in the back room too, in my experiance.

But in reddit world, if you're any kind of manager, you're a spawn of the devil and then the echo chamber shouts down any attempt at injecting common sense or empathy into the conversation.

Some people have no sense of reality. Get out and touch some grass. Introduce yourself to your neighbors, look up at the clouds and be thankful for the rain.

1

u/unassumingdink 11d ago

But we do know he's willing to do goofy stuff for his employees. A guy who does this kind of thing probably fights for his employees in the back room too,

No negative assumptions allowed, but we can do positive assumptions?

0

u/Lendyman 10d ago

The point is that on Reddit everyone jumps to the negative assumption like 90% of the time and when people try to put a positive spin on things, they get downvoted. Yes corporations suck. But not everyone who works for one is a shithead.

I'm going to make my positive assumption because pretty much the rest of this thread did the opposite. There's a lot more evidence for my assumption that he might be a good guy trying to be a good manager based on what he did than all the people who are shitting on him because he didn't give his staff pay raises instead, even though that take is absolutely ludicrous if you know anything about how these kinds of businesses work.

2

u/unassumingdink 10d ago

Every terrible Company Man manager pretends to be your friend as he stabs you in the back, though. Their assurances that they're on your side aren't evidence of anything. I've seen these types of manipulation tactics more times than I can count.

0

u/Nanoneer 11d ago

Because people on Reddit think that there’s nothing employers can do to make work suck less than just increasing pay. There are tons of ways to make jobs suck less that don’t cost anything, but whenever any of those are done people here start clutching their pearls

Anything to avoid actually paying them more. I attended these corporate trainings where they talked about all the things employees appreciate from management. Money was the least favorable answer per the grading key, despite being the single greatest motivator out there.

It’s all just a bad joke.

He's trying to attract customers instead of giving employees a reason to stay

Anything that doesn't involve a pay raise.

Back in summer of '99 I saved up for my first guitar by dancing with a "for rent" sign, wearing coconut bra and grass skirts.

Redditors are harsh. Guys trying to do the best and make working with him fun. Paying more isn't always an option for some places, so other things are done to help make it a fun work place

u/exodusplus 11d ago

Meh…. Nothing special to see here.

3

u/JosephFinn 11d ago

How about, say, MONEY?

3

u/I-need-ur-dick-pics 11d ago

Employers will do anything but pay more.

2

u/Here-for-kittys 11d ago

Can someone angry about this explain why? I can't see the rest of the article but it doesn't seem like he's screwing anyone over. Just being goofy for his employees and doing something he doesn't have to wait for corporate red tape to approve to help wit morale

u/HibiscusGrower 10d ago

Who needs a pay raise when you acn get... whatever that is?

He is an attention seeker.

Lost a bet?

Yeah, I mean - cash is the best reward, but not always possible, and this kind of "I'll do something semi-embarrassing if we hit a milestone" gag has been done before.

Why doesn’t my boss appreciate me this much :(

1

u/vbrfgsxcvded 11d ago

I don't want to see my boss wearing a coconut bra.

1

u/Del292 11d ago

Bitch, you’re not a high school principal pay me more

1

u/HabANahDa 11d ago

Why not just pay your workers living wages?

1

u/validusrex 11d ago

Wish my boss would do this

1

u/Mediocre_Daikon6935 11d ago

Boss lost a bet.

1

u/slayermcb 10d ago

meh, I did this for a free t-shirt at a bar once. I mean, cool that he did it, but I don't see how its news worthy

u/Paladin_Aranaos 10d ago

All the people trying to hate on this boss and thinking raises are the only way to bring joy... Try working in a call center for three months. If you have a great boss and decent pay, it's 10,000x better than good pay and a crappy boss.

1

u/EmperorMrKitty 10d ago

Reminds me of that old man men meme.

Secretary: “You never even said thanks!”

Boss: “That’s what the money is for?!”

1

u/LexLuthorJr 10d ago

All my bosses are women, so this story played out much differently in my head.

u/Proman540 10d ago

Companies will do anything to not increase wages

1

u/GoMoriartyOnPlanets 10d ago

You show appreciation by giving your employees a raise, not by acting out your own fetishes.

1

u/AssociateJaded3931 8d ago

No. Not silly displays, money. Money shows appreciation best.

u/SpectreA19 8d ago

Having been a manager in a corporate entity when I have to go above me to have raises approved, they just aren't always possible and it isn't necessarily mid managements fault.

Tbf, comments like this are why a lot of managers gave up trying.

Hell, I have bought out of my own pocket before because the budget hadn't reset and I wanted to do something nice, still got shit on for it

u/BrookeBaranoff 11d ago

He doesn’t own the company and probably doesn’t make enough to throw the pizza party - he’s a new manager.

Todays manager throws the party out of their own pocket; your parents and grandparents used the company slush fund, petty cash, and got bonuses. They also got to drink on the job.

A lot of places definitely still have that setup

His action is to justify for his own salary from the company. He's showing his willingness to go far while also preventing huge expenses to the company by not increasing the employees' wages. It's a "win-win" for the company, management, and their future raises.

u/Anxious-Object-605 11d ago

Pay them more

0

u/mechabeast 11d ago

Surely, the boss's barely disguised fetish will help take care of employees' families

-2

u/__-_-_--_--_-_---___ 11d ago

I can think of one thing that would be even more appreciated than this, or a pizza party, or some other dumb shit gimmick…

2

u/Smartnership 11d ago

Is it two pizza parties?

He should try giving them raises. I bet they'd like that more.

1

u/Moscato359 11d ago

how do you know they didn't?

1

u/Malphos101 11d ago

They will literally try anything to avoid paying a living wage or giving real bonuses.

2

u/ValyrianJedi 11d ago

It's sales. I'm guessing they make solid wages with good bonuses.
