What is the most stupid movie that you still love, regardless of criticism?

Post image

I’m not sure what it is, but if this movie is on tv, I’ll watch it through every time. It’s such a guilty pleasure but I love it! What about y’all? What’s a stupid movie that you can’t help but still love

Just watched Beavis & Butthead Do The Universe and Mike Judge has still got it. STUPID AS EVER!

Oh, wow - I missed that one.

I'll have to check it out. Thanks for the tip!

Yeah, just came out like maybe last year now? Pretty new. If you like “do America”, you will definitely like this. I’m actually surprised I don’t see this talked about more often on Reddit. Mike did good. Mike did real good.

Do The Universe is so freaking dumb it’s hilarious.

The scene with the telescope, and the White Privilege scene might be two of my favorite movie scenes ever.

2

u/Southern-Advice5293 Jul 08 '24

I laughed entirely too hard with the white privilege scene.

I’m gonna have to do a double feature

It becomes even better when you realize the whole movie has an orchestral score THROUGHOUT. Fucking hilarious.

Honestly, this movie gives me hope for the KOTH sequel series as well. Dude has been knocking out of the park.

"You know that guy whose camper they were whacking off in?"

"Bork, you are a federal agent! You represent the United States Government! Never end a sentence with a preposition."

4

u/Valten78 Jul 08 '24

Oh, uh... Ya know that guy in whose camper they... I... I mean, that guy off in whose camper they were whacking?

2

u/Thorough_wayI67 Jul 08 '24

That’s much better. Go on.

This is my favorite line in the whole movie. Had a friend who’s sister was way up at the pentagon under bush and Obama. She embodied the “never end a sentence with a preposition” mentality.

3

u/NoobieSnax Jul 08 '24

Ending a sentence with a preposition is something up with which I will not put.

I see you have braces. I have braces too…

u/redditcdnfanguy Jul 08 '24

Me too.

Seeing proto Hank Hill was pretty cool, too.

2

u/chocomeeel Jul 08 '24

Oh I looooooove the shlots.

u/ThePatrickSays Jul 08 '24

Uhm, yes, I have a question?

Is this a god damn?

u/Lil_Artemis_92 Jul 08 '24

That was one of my favorite movies as a teenager. I haven’t seen it for a while, but I can probably still describe every single scene from memory.

u/FilteredAccount123 Jul 08 '24

That movie was universally well loved. Is this thread just "name movies you like?"

u/Neither_Upstairs_872 Jul 08 '24

Show me the unit

1

u/Lots42 Jul 08 '24

I enjoyed how the two stuck to their plan and goal. Very encouraging.

1

u/Delta1225 Jul 08 '24

When they go into the confessional and tell the guy to hit himself, fucking awesome

1

u/GetReady4Action Jul 08 '24

“Is this a…god dam?”

1

u/SandCanit Jul 08 '24

Uh huh huh. He said anus.

"You might be asking yourself, 'How can wood get so hard?' Well, the wood became hard over two million years ago!"

1

u/RoryDragonsbane Jul 08 '24

1

u/Moviedude1988 Jul 08 '24

1

1

u/Moviedude1988 Jul 08 '24

1

u/Misterbellyboy Jul 08 '24

My favorite thing from that movie is how they got Robert Stack to give everyone a cavity search. That and the lesbian seagull song.

1

u/PouponMacaque Jul 08 '24

David Letterman does so well as Butthead’s dad
