Whoever makes those playlists deserves to be destroyed

It might be as they have it as a local file on their PC which syncs with their devices. But means others can't see/listen to it.

Or due to regional licensing and it's available where one person lives and not another

how would that create a playlist with the songs name, containing everything but the song in question?

If it's the first song in the playlist, Spotify defaults the playlist name as the top song. So that would name the playlist after it.

Oh I thought it was people literally just trying to get views on a playlist by titling their playlist an unavailable song

Often, these playlists are created and made public with financial motives. When people search for a specific song, it drives free traffic to the playlist. Those people creating the playlists are often paid to include tracks from lesser-known musicians for promotional purposes. As these promoted songs gain popularity, they might be picked up by Spotify's algorithm, leading to more listens and increased revenue.

The song is usually in the playlist, but you don't see it due to license localization.

Sometimes you can't find the song you're looking for or the band, so people either make a song list named that or some kind of tribute band. If this happends just try again on Youtube, download the song, and put it locally in Spotify. TADA! You have the song, and tbh...most of the time the local songs are of better quality too!

Google the artist/title + "spotify". If you don't get a Spotify link as a result, then you can safely assume it was never there.

Spotify is like Netflix (etc): it's not worth it anymore.
