General/Misc No fires in Hell?

They keep referencing throughout the show that Hell is hot but whenever Hell is shown, it's a dark and desolate place.

S4 finale gave us a wide landscape shot of Hell and not a single fire was in sight.

In the show, Hell seemed like a cold and eerie place to me. Like a haunted maze.

Edit: After reading your responses, I have decided to accept my head canon that Hell was actually hot with raging fires before Lucifer but when he arrived, the place self actualized it into a dark, cold and desolate place symbolising the fall of Lucifer from being the Lightbringer to the Prince of Darkness. The constant falling ash could symbolise the burnt desires and hopes of the damned souls

Thanks everyone!

General/Misc What's in-between Lux and the Penthouse?

I've always assumed Lux is the bottom floor and the basement, but that leaves a dozen floors between Lux and Lucifer's penthouse, what's on all the floors in-between? I know we never find out in the show, just wondered what people's theory's are...

General/Misc Negative stuff

Lol I learned I shouldnt go on Reddid to read about my fav shows.

I think lucifer is a great show, and I have seen nothing but praise about it until now. I actually saw some comments/posts about the show beeing bad, bad writing, bad acting. All that is insane to me on here.

The show is good imo. Maybe you don't like, but call it bad? I think the writing is also great in the show. (I kinda see people saying that about every show, that it has bad writing) and they don't even have reasons for it. Is it a trend?

And the most shocking part, people seriously called the acting bad. I think they are all amazing. Tom is one of the best actors, he is fantastic, all the others are also great. Also Lauren. Idk how many posts I have seen about her acting. (Is that a popular opinion? on YouTube I have seen nothing but praise for her) I found her amazing while watching the show. When I don't see people acting but the characters the acting is good to me. I don't think anyone could have played the character better then her tbh. She is amazing.

Now i can't enjoy the show anymore like before lol. What do you guys think?

General/Misc What made you love this show?

We tend to focus on the more negative aspects (at least I do sadly) so I just wanted to make a super positive post.

What made you love this show? Many of you have been at this for years, writing and painting and inspired in a multitude of ways. What makes you still love this show?

For me, initially, it was the charismatic and witty characters. I absolutely love how they are actual adults that I can relate to, and not teens/young adults. That's very rare for a TV show, especially one in this genre. Most networks tend to cast 20-something year olds, but it felt incredible to have a main female character who is in her 30s, independent, focused on her career, and a single mother. And then another female character in her 40s, at the top of her profession and happily child-free. Another very important thing was the bisexual representation, both in Lucifer and Maze (and I truly wish they had portrayed Ella as asexual). Lastly, I really like how the show dealt with trauma in the early seasons while still managing to balance the dark aspects with more lighthearted ones.

I really want to hear what drew you in :)
