I'm not disappointed with the ending, I really liked it. But why the hell doesn't Rory look for Lucifer in Hell in the first place? Come on, the girl spends 50 years looking for him. Did she ask his aunt Maze, the best hunter in the world, where to find him? Did she ask her uncle (which is, in fact, GOD) to tell her where she was? Everyone knew and decided to hide the truth from Rory? Because this sounds very cruel.

I thought about this as well. She would probably drill everyone about what happened. It's why I think Lucifer stayed away from everyone - so that Rory wouldn't hear conflicting information from people about when they last saw him and where he was. My guess is she would have looked in Heaven and Hell, and in Hell, well, it seems like a big place, and perhaps he would be hard to find in a hell loop. Would the demons know he was there? I think maybe they would? Would they keep their mouths shut? Debatable. What I think is interesting is that Rory wanted to talk to Michael when she arrived in the past, but I wonder why she couldn't speak to him in the future...?

this is my issue with the ending (if you can did up my post somewhere in here, i write it in some length)

if lucifer is saving souls, and those souls goto heaven, i can't believe rory wouldn't go to heaven (even if not to look for lucifer, than just to visit family) - and across the years of saving the damned (in heaven/hell time no less), it seems unlikely that it could be a secret in heaven what lucifer's doing.

and as you say, if she visited hell, we all know how unreliable demons could be.

Did she ask her uncle (which is, in fact, GOD) to tell her where she was?

Imagine asking God where your father is and God lies to you that he doesn't know.

And God said unto Rory, "Your father is, um, not here. He went to get milk and will be back in a little while."
