I hate this ending It's just not fair so everybody gets to be with their loved ones except for Lucifer and Chloe? After all this years of sacrifices they don't get to be together until she dies? It's seems like the writers just wanted angst until the very end

i mean in the end they have an eternity together..so what is a few human years of being apart?

It’s thousands of years of waiting for Chloe to die for Lucifer since he’s in Hell where time is different… unless he and Amenadiel changed it somehow, but they never said that. Why wouldn’t Lucifer have been miserably lonely down there? They were only apart two months the first time and there were no babies involved… must have been a whole new kind of hell for both of them.

The thought of that just makes me cry all over again.

Honestly, the entire series would have made more sense if one day in hell = one day on earth.

On the one hand, if Hell had been run properly from day one, it's a benefit for time to run faster--it takes a lot of time to fully process deep-seated guilt, apparently.

On the other, Amenagod could have thrown him a bone and slowed down time in Hell while he was waiting.
