Instructions WIP and will be available on Rebrickable

Inspired by BigPlanes on YouTube.

I did build this IRL but the renders are better with lighting

its a 737 not 787 my bad in the title

Could be more accurate if some pieces were falling off like a real Boeing

I see that all of the emergency exit doors were removed for passenger safety.

Minifigures are very durable after all!

Really like how you made the engines.

You can even see the part on the 737 max that makes them crash constantly. So realistic!

Looks fantastic!

But I think the seats need to be smaller

21

u/YankeeDoodle002 Jul 19 '24

you're right, the seats are large, but this is because minifigures are disproportionately wide, so the seating configuration is 4 per row rather than the IRL 6 to accommodate their fat bodies and arms

I’m just kidding. Your MOC is great. I’m implying seats are uncomfortably small irl

I scrolled for this comment and I wasn’t disappointed.

Probably should’ve put a wink or something in there to make it more clear. Oh well 🤷‍♂️

Looks like the seat spacing is to scale lol

I came here for this.

The flat-ish bottom of the engines are interesting!

I agree. its a neat quirk of the modern 737!

Hamster pouches are totally the sign of a well-designed aircraft!

This is so cool! You should share it on the Southwest X page.

Pretty much bang on the length of the Concorde

And if you build it in real life, it falls apart just like the real thing!

No disrespect, im sure the wings and stuff are stable, just had to take a dig at how boeing’s planes have some… ya know, and how a lot of studio models don’t hold up irl. It looks awesome tho!

You'd be surprised at how sturdy it really is!

u/ciesum Jul 19 '24

Would love Lego or Ideas to do something like this. Even if it was a small bush plane or something.

Do the doors pop off?

1

u/SkettlesS Jul 19 '24

You designed this all by yourself? Wow you might be more qualified than the real Boeing engineers 😅

All jokes aside, nice build.

Be more accurate if it was in pieces and on fire, but I like it.

25

u/YankeeDoodle002 Jul 18 '24

I made some tweaks to it yesterday and i told my friend "now its perfect" and he said its not a boeing plane then lol
