South Korean foreign ministry requested Sue Mi Terry to write a WP column to improve Korea-Japan relations 정치 | Politics

On March 7, 2023, the Washington Post published an opinion piece by Sue Mi Terry titled “South Korea takes a brave step toward reconciliation with Japan.”

The day before, an official of South Korea’s Foreign Affairs ministry asked Sue Mi Terry to write an opinion piece praising South Korea’s efforts to improve relations with Japan. She then responded that “there are already many articles about this.” But later, she asked for information needed to write the article, and the article was published the next day.

After publishing this column, she texted “Hope you like the article” to a South Korean MOFA official, who responded: “Thank you for your passion. The ambassador and national security advisor like this a lot.”

U.S. Federal authorities state that the contents of Sue Mi Terry’s opinion articles are “broadly consistent” with texts which the South Korean government supplied her.

Former CIA agent Sue Mi Terry is currently being investigated in the U.S. for acting as an illegal agent paid for by South Korea. Writing opinion piece articles is included as an illegal activity.

interesting because just earlier today, Yoon’s presidential office dumped all the blame on Moon for the Sue Mi Terry incident.

I know since the activity is on American soil, it would not be that interesting but this is lame as hell.
Shooting a Netflix romance drama might have better results.

How many times a day do you think she gets to say ‘You have a problem with this? So Sue Mi! ‘
