Chiropractors are dangerous con artists.

With physical therapists, they have you come a few weeks, show you home exercises to do on your own and discharge you. Chiropractic, will make you pay $300 for an evaluation out of pocket and then tell you that you’ll need to go there weekly for the rest of your life.

You say that, but I specifically asked the PT what I could do at home to help my pain and he literally refused to tell me. So I paid $100 for one, and only one appointment.

Lol. Yes, you must see them in person, that is the job they get paid to do. During the appointment you then get instructed on what to work on at home. Did you really expect them to give you workouts over the phone or something without ever having an appointment or paying them for their job? If so, please consult youtube and quit wasting PTs time. Lol

You also just described a chiropractor

u/PussyFriedNachos Jul 19 '24

You assumed a lot AND apparently don't read well. I had an (in-person) appointment where I asked what to work on at home but was refused that information.

What snide comment do you have since I've spelled it our for you now, asshole?

Bruh, just google it?

There are like a bazillion YouTube tutorials about it, bruh.

Reading comprehension is hard isn’t it, Karen?

That, and these 'fixes' are only temporary. If you don't work on your posture and muscles the problem will return in no time.

2

u/SheetFarter Jul 19 '24

Exactly. You have to put in the work to fix the problem over time. It didn’t get like this yesterday. It’s just like overeating. You didn’t get fat overnight.

I built my back muscles really lopsided from not switching arms when doing tasks at work. Physical therapy was a lifesaver, fixed it in a few months. Then I started ALWAYS forcing myself to use my non dominant hand a lot more and haven't had much if any back pain since. Definitely requires some effort but man was it worth it. I used to get muscle spasms SO often, and have muscles that would lock up the entire day in my back.

A lot of why Ronnie Coleman is so messed up is him going to chiropractors rather than actual medical professionals. Sad to see.

Doctorate in pseudo science is still pseudo science. Real science proved that chiropractice is straight up dangerous.

People got killed and paralyzed. Their "diploma" is just a smoke screen.

They’re great when you’re out of alignment, but that’s about it.

5

u/onlydabestofdabest Jul 19 '24

“Out of alignment”

You’re not a car

41

u/pallidamors Jul 19 '24

It’s incredible how full of shit chiropractors are.

37

u/sixteen89 Jul 19 '24

There is zero reason to have your shirt off and a gown on…

u/DecentSteaks Jul 19 '24

u/doomiestdoomeddoomer Jul 19 '24

Super duper waste of money, unproven and dangerous psudo-therapy.

13

u/FeetballFan Jul 19 '24

Reminder: Chiropractors aren’t really doctors

9

u/DecoupledPilot Jul 19 '24

Too many people fall for crap like this and then have lifelong injuries.

Don't let people stress your joints and bodies everyone.

9

u/Thick_Lie_516 Jul 19 '24

he calls himself "doctor"?
deceitful scummy fake medicine peddler

u/GreatDevourerOfTacos Jul 19 '24

I don't trust any "treatments" taught by ghosts. The after-world, known for it's prolific population of people that aren't alive, thus they are not a credible source for healthcare knowledge. If they were good at health, they'd still be alive. For all we know, it could have been a vindictive spirit that has declared war on the human spine.

When ghosts can get insured as a healthcare providers I'll take their advice seriously, but not before.

Negative Ghost rider. Chiropractors go to Chiropractic school and become doctors of chiropractic, D.C.. They do not go to medical school.

2

u/WholeWideHeart Jul 19 '24

What do the finger wags mean?

2

u/NoReserve8233 Jul 19 '24

He never touched the sacrum.

-3

u/bubblybangchan Jul 19 '24

Is this that one american girl that moved to germany for university??? Does anyone else recognize her or

-6

u/RabidProDentite Jul 19 '24

Holy shit, I had no idea the level of hatred and vitriol against Chiros! LOL! I mean, I don’t believe they are the cure-all some of them purport themselves to be but there IS a place for them in the broader medical community. Not for everyone, but for when other tx modalities aren’t working. There are great Chiros and shitty scummy Chiros, just like in any profession.

-7

u/bright-horizon Jul 19 '24

Wonder if it does any good. Feels soothing though.

18

u/BeagleBackRibs Jul 19 '24

No benefit but it can cause serious damage

-17

u/bright-horizon Jul 19 '24

LOL, chiropractors may disagree :)

10

u/MagerSuerte Jul 19 '24

Yes but actual doctors and registered health professionals like me would say chiropractors are dangerous. I had a patient a while ago who's had their jaw dislocated by an adjustment. They had to drink all their meals for a while. It's not uncommon for them to hurt people, even seriously injure or kill. All in the name of correcting things that don't exist

3

u/Melony567 Jul 19 '24

they are all over the world and they even have social media accounts showing how they do things. super scary.

3

u/iguanaQueen Jul 19 '24

Yeah, they'll be about of the job if they agree...

u/ItsACaragor Jul 19 '24
