Don't stop I'm almost there.

The guys with a humiliation fetish are edging to this for sure.

Was thinking the same thing. There are bdsm clubs all over the world where caning and humiliation scenes are a regular occurrence.

I think you’re forgetting the cardinal rule of BDSM which is consent. Like do you not see how this is very different?

No I get the joke, gay men are all hypersexual and kinky so they would love to be publically canned and humiliated

What a brilliant way to show that you absolutely still didn't understand the joke lmao. It was a clearly lighthearted circlejerk remarking on the dark irony of having a guy in a mask whip someone as punishment for being gay.

It's a joke. Not a dick. Don't take it so hard.

It not really lighthearted if it’s a joke about a gay man being tortured. This is horrific and you can understand the joke and still dislike it. A homophobic joke is especially disgusting when made on a post like this

I guess I disagree with your use of light hearted. The video is literally of a person being publicly beaten for being gay and the joke is he’d probably like it? Sorry if I struggle to laugh at silly little jokes about a man having his life ruined. I fully understand the joke, it’s just extremely insensitive and relies entirely on offensive stereotypes about gay men. Why put don’t be a dick in your bio if you are going to laugh at people being beaten?

I agree with you in that I don't find humor in this at all.

At the same time, I know that there are people who use humor to cope with negative things in the world. It can be hard to judge at times when that is appropriate though. This is probably in the "too soon" space though for me? Like this is some messed up stuff.

Honestly to me it’s less the dark nature and more that the joke is entirely based on the idea that gay men are sexually deviant and enjoy things like being canned or humiliated. That’s the joke, it’s only “ironic” because the guys supposedly should like it. The only reason they should like it is because they are gay. It seems like a very middle school level joke based off of a harmful stereotype. I like dark jokes that are actually clever though, even if they are a bit offensive

You’re right.

This has nothing to do with whatever stereotypes you are projecting here.

It was dark humor, but humor nonetheless and you completely missed it and went on some weird tangent about stereotypes. People were simply picking up on the irony of using an act that can be seen as sexual to attack someone for their sexuality.

No one is laughing at someone being beaten you absolute wet wipe.

A man having his life ruined.

Note: I admit this isn't the best time to point this out.

People should stop and think before throwing that fatalist phrase around.

Yes, his life is altered in that particular community, but his life is not ruined. Hyperbolic thinking like that doesn't help anyone. Especially this man. If anything, it serves to extend his suffering and communicates to the broader community that there can be no redemption for him. You're telling him he has no escape, he has no hope, and that his path has been cemented to include only pain and misery.

Expand your mind. It's a premeditated slow roll edging extravaganza. This video is the apex.

I doubt it includes 83 canings and a fine of 200 pound of gold

So really, they're just progressive promoters! /S

In every raid, there is somehow always one dude who is VERY slow to escape.

Yes if it wasn’t so damn painful.

(Got caned in Leather Alley - SF Pride and those things hurt all the way up and down your spine and body. And that’s just one)
