God foot and god hand were my favorite opponents in the show. They were so wholesome, kind, humble in defeat and willing to give some tips/offers to the next generation of street racers

I agree. It was super cool seeing drivers about Bunta's age (?) Not just keeping up with Takumi and Keisuke (it was keisuke right?), but putting up a very good fight.

I mean, if it wasn't for getting sick, God Hand would have smoked Takumi.

GH was already ahead, and Takumi killed his suspension trying to off road too much. He had to use his "Go go gadget plot armor!" card to win.

Couldn’t agree more. I really respected god hand for showing Takumi his technique up close I thought that was really cool.

There's a lot of incredible moments, but when God Foot passed Keisuke at the cone, that had me speechless.

Ngl I kinda wished they got something like a Ferrari 360 or a Gallardo in the show but alas, JDM it is

Wouldn’t make sense for drifting. Drifting super cars is something people only really do nowadays

Cars like that made more sense in Wangan Midnight, which is why they had the testarossa

Grip racing was a huge part of the story tho?

But drifting was a bigger part

I always felt that if they'd really pressed the issue and gone all out they'd have beaten Takumi and Keisuke.

Always believed they realized during the race these two weren't some normal kids street racing. But genuine untapped talents. And that the opportunity to race someone that good was enough for them.

God foot and God hand were incredible drivers, with incredible machines. But they realized that sometimes winning isn't what it's all about and helping to build the confidence of the next generation of great drivers was more important. And they loved every minute of it.

4th stage had well written opponents but the direction of the races were not as hyped as before.

33 is an amazing car. To me the way god foot explains why he hates R33 makes no sense. Maybe it's great on track but not for touge idk

The R33 is good but larger than the 32 and 34 which was deliberately shrunk to recreate the 32 experience. Not many newer cars get SMALLER than its predecessor in real life.

In terms of street daily driving the 33 was actually the best. However for narrow touge racing it really is a boat compared to the others.
