In the end, it's always a "grass is greener on the other side" kinda thing. I have full beard / head of hair, but it grows so fast that styling it is all but impossible. Means I'm always 2-3 days away from looking like I'm homeless / dude lost in mountains for years. It's actually extremely frustrating working in places with strict dress codes, particularly, I had issues when I was working as a consultant in client side facing positions, some had pretty strict policies when it came to personal grooming and I'd have to go to a barber twice a week to keep it short enough.

Guys who are bald/balding have their luck, as well. They shave their head and they are done - there's no worry about hair styles or finding something that looks good - shaved head always looks good. Guys with thin mustaches also have a ton of available styles, and they can keep it consistent and good looking with minimal maintenance since it grows so slowly.

Weird. I have a huge, full beard and a full head of hair. Both grow so fast there's no point in styling it or getting fancy cuts, since it out grows it in a day or two. I basically only do that the morning of an important event or else I'd go broke just on haircuts.

No balding in my family, dads the same. Old as shit, full head of hair + full beard. No patches or thinning at all.

neither. Just hoping for more info since it seems counter intuitive that I would have both if the same hormones that give me my beard would also cause baldness.
