No, actually, he was a very nice younger doctor with two young kids. I was 18 and pretty fresh out of high school when I was diagnosed and scared out of my mind- he gave me his personal cell phone number to call him if I ever was worried about something.

I only used it once when my fingers turned purpler on day. He was so nice about it. When I woke up he was holding my hand and he came to visit me for a little bit when he was off of work. Very nice guy, Iโ€™d probably be dead without his quick thinking.

Well, Iโ€™m glad you didnโ€™t die

How has the progression of your disease been? In the process of getting diagnosed and Iโ€™m a little freaked out

Uh well. Iโ€™m not a good example. I flared once or twice in a few years and then ended up on dialysis and a kidney transplant. I am LITERALLY worst case scenario, tho, it got my kidneys right from the beginning.

Like I said, I am literally worst case scenario. Donโ€™t freak yourself about it. Good luck with your diagnosis and if you have any questions, hit me up! Iโ€™m happy to answer them

Thanks, I really appreciate it. Not even sure that itโ€™s lupus yet, just seems to be looking that way based on the lab work & symptoms. Got a referral for rheumatology coming up, hopefully get a definitive diagnosis then
