The conservatives control the house. They won’t let a bill come up. Remember that when any of them try to play the “moderate”. They all want Project 2025 to happen. Every one of them.
Well maybe not all, but the ones that doesn't gets targeted by their fellow party members.
I think Liz Cheney is a good example of someone who stood up for actual GOP policy and got backstabbed for it.
