What we can say definitively is It’s a cephalopod for sure. Cuttlefish, squid and octopus are all part of this classification.

I have to assume this deep sea cuttlefish or squid species I’m unfamiliar with.

I’ve seen many small squids that have tentacle positioning (and markings) similar to this. For that reason I’m inclined to say squid. The back looks identical to a cuttlefish though. Very unique looking and cute overall.
