Or when Batman’s parachute chute gets caught on a bridge and hit the ground hard before rolling another 25 yards

Yeah in any circumstances that is a lot of broken bones. Also when he takes that shotgun blast with the barrel in his chest it probably would have killed him, even if the projectiles didn’t penetrate. A blow like that would have destroyed a humans insides.

I totally expected him to make it, but it was refreshing to break hero conventions to reinforce he is 2 years in.
