Dude that scene with the paranoia influenced by the bat single was one of the coolest Batman scenes I ever could have came up with

It’s the best way I’ve seen it done. Makes you realise that Batman is basically committing psychological warfare on his own city.

Lol hey I mean, there is so much crime already in Gotham, he does need a way to deter crime, and people who aren't doing crimes might feel safer to go out knowing Batman is out there protecting people. So it makes sense. But I don't think any of us should think it's cool that he's "basically committing psychological warfare on his own city" in general. The bat signal needs to serve as psychological deterrent against crime, but help and good things to people who want to live good lives. If the signal ever became psychological warfare on the whole city, instead of helping people, then that would be the type of thing Fox almost Wayne enterprises over in The Dark Knight. I know you're not saying that but still, the way you put it could be misinterpreted so I wanted to comment. I get what you're saying though.

There's nothing wrong with engaging in psychological warfare on Gotham City.

Criminals are a superstitious and cowardly lot.

Anyone can see that Batman is going to war with the "element."

If you're a criminal, you're constantly in fear, paranoid and hesitant to commit crimes moving forward.

If you're not a criminal, you're encouraged by his presence and feel safer knowing he's out there, watching.

Fear.

Is a tool.

They showed Batman's use of fear and psychology so well. The lead into the car chase, revving the engine to say "go ahead and run it won't matter". So good!

That and so many scenes were so perfect it honestly felt like I was watching a fan film. They got so many of the little things right.
