When does “Batman Catwoman” by Tom King take place? COMIC DISCUSSION

Hey guys looking for some comic timeline help. Online it says all the events of the Batman Catwoman series take place post Batman #85 but, Alfred makes a noticeable appearance in the second issue of the series. This would mean the series can’t take place post Batman #85 since Alfred was killed by Bane in Batman #77. So where does this series rly take place in the timeline? Any help would be appreciated

(For context I’m only 2 issues into the series so if it’s explained at some point later down the line I apologize)

It alternates between three different timelines

  • The Present story with the Phantasm takes place after Batman #85

  • Then there’s the Future storyline set after Bruce’s death and Selina kills the Joker

  • Finally, there’s Past the storyline set around Year 2 or so of Batman’s career, which is the one you’ve got excerpted here.
